Unless they give us a Game Of Thrones and have the series end with the Gems shattering Steven because there's no way to heal him. Only 3 out of 4 Diamonds are around and it isn't enough to heal him and they can't poof Steven and bubble him to take him to Rose's fountain so the Diamonds can heal him. Maybe shattering is the only way to put Steven out of his misery. I mean we never got to see a gem get shattered on screen. I mean White, Yellow, and Blue have shattered gems before (Don't know how they're the good guys.) But we never saw it.

Couldn’t they just heal him the same way as all the other corrupted gems, through Rose’s healing water and the diamond essences? Then they can focus on healing him fully through heart to hearts and LOTS of therapy.
I have 1 thing to say to you guys, it's a giant Tarrasque version of Steven, who's negative perceptions of his mother are 1 of the main reason's that he'd be corrupted. The fountain has a giant statue of his mother, so he might just destroy it out of rage, stopping the flow of water

@Sheila Bourke The issue with that is that nobody would think of doing that because nobody would expect Steven to get corrupted in the first place
@Sheila Bourke The fountain can't activate the water flow without Steven's tears so I heavily doubt they can get the water with Steven corrupted. And before you say "Why not get it while he's getting corrupted?" or something like that, Steven would most likely shut himself somewhere so nobody can see him (corrupted or half gems can't use warp pads btw) or try to get away from the fountain/destroy it since he dislikes his mother greatly for what she did
@Sheila Bourke Yes. Back when Amethyst got her gem cracked, the fountain only activated because of Steven's tear. Resurrecting the fountain, if you will. I bet Steven only needed his spit afterwards in Change Your Mind, now that he had better control on his powers
I honestly think that if we get a "corruption healing" type song, Steven's part in "True Kinda Love" would be in it, along with other words. possibly tunes and melodies from over the series, coming together to create a beautiful sounding work of art. It would probably be Connie singing to Steven (Not in the Mindscape) when TKL came up.

There is an extremely simple solution to Steven's corruption that everyone is overlooking:
Once Steven is corrupted, all they have to do to heal him is take his gem out of body, like White Diamond did in Change Your Mind. Steven's organic half will return to normal, while his gem half is now a raging, corrupted Alaskan Bullworm. The Crystal Gems will have to battle it to poof it or Steven will try to communicate with it using the power of love and junk. Or maybe they will get it to calm down with music like you said. Then they can take it to Rose's fountain, combined with the Diamond vials to heal it. Normal Pink Steven will emerge from the water, and he and Steven will fuse back together. Maybe Steven will have some kind of scar over his eye, like that doll from A Very Special Episode afterwards.
Hhmm... I can kind of see this happening but Steven's organic half wouldn't survive for too long without pink Steven (he was extremely weak when they were separated during change your mind)
I also think that corruption would somehow affect Steven's human side
Except that organic Steven was dying without his gem.
I don't think you understand that much about the gem part, do you know how hard it is to poof a diamond, and do we know how long Stevens organic side has before he dies.
@@iatnehmaster8132 Like I said, maybe they don't have to poof it to get it to cooperate, I think it would actually be more thematically appropriate to have Steven get it calm down or use music. Knowing this show, Steven will probably have to sing to it to get it to listen. It is difficult, but it's not impossible to poof a diamond. As for him dying, we don't know how long Steven can survive without his gem, since they were only separated for less than five minutes in Change Your Mind. I'd like to imagine that Steven passes out after singing to it, and then once Pink Steven is healed he and Steven fuse right as Steven is on the brink of death.

I personally think that because Steven is half human, his scars will be his eyes. Y’know, Pink Diamond eyes.
Anyway, if the cure to corruption could be a Mindscape Melody, I feel as if Connie would be the one to cure Steven’s corruption.
I feel as if steven will lose his powers in the end and be come just human. Even if he gets corrupted or not, in the very end, i feel like he will just become full human and move on with his life. Even the ending theme makes me think this, "being human". Although it could just be about normal human emotions, and dealing with them.
This is a possibility, but i don't think the title "Being Human" is litteral. I think Steven will just live a Human Life. No Gem Stuff, still in contact with the gems but finding his own path. Like i said what you said is possible :).

How cool would it be if the ending episode involves all the crystal gems having to enter stevens mind scape and they find him trapped inside there by a mix of roses and thorns holding him down. Honestly that would be so terrifying but all so cool to see.
Aaron Pierce well it makes sense. Like a rose (a flower very associated with Steven), thorns are used as protection. But like real thorns, they may embody Steven’s suppressed negative emotions (like pain, grief, fear, anger, frustration, and self loathing).
And like an unkept or abandoned garden, thorns and weeds will keep growing, ruining and destroying every living beauty in their path (in this case, the good memories, faith, love, and many virtues), UNTIL someone decides to take care of it again and helps it to restore and protect this beauty.

I think you need to keep in mind we don’t know what exactly will happens to him.
You always say that Wormy Boi is corrupted Steven, and while the evidence that it’s Steven is pretty clear, we can’t say for sure that it’s gonna be corruption. It could easily be something new entirely.

Maybe if White Diamond separated his gem from his human half, organic Steven can be healed so he can function on his own. Then organic Steven can help help dragon Steven.

I was toying with this idea of Connie, Greg, and the Crystal Gems getting into Steven's head via fusion and fighting through Steven's mindscape while singing to him.
I wish that would happen ;-; (idk if you mean they would fuse with steven) but remember that the only one who can fuse with humans is Steven, since he is half human and half gem

You know a cool idea I had was if they used the diamonds essence like in the bathroom, but Steven couldn’t in-corrupt himself. So I’d think it be a cool montage of everyone trying to get a drop of “wormy boi’s” spit to heal him
Corruption can be healed with love by friends and family
Jasper's scars are not at all like the Gem she fused with. Maybe her corruption was caused by a mental collaspe. Think about Jasper the Perfect Quartz was defeated again and again by the Crystal Gems and Steven. She lost to Garnet,, she lost to Lapis. Jasper tried to form an army only to lose twice with her plan. Finally in desperation Jasper fuses with a corrupted Quartz only to lose and the Quartz to leave her. Her total and utter defeat causes the corruption.
We've seen an example with Volleyball who still retained scars because of Pink's mistreatment of her. The memory the trauma of that event left scars on Volleyball kinda like corruption.
I feel like it will be one last big musical episode with every main Crystal Gem joining in, and perhaps the Diamonds singing in their own Diamond ambience chord in harmony.
Your cure Steven, is therapy. Take a moment to think of just, flexibility, love, and trust. But ohhhh that's right, you don't want Garnet's high and mighty advice anymore. Whelp.
I feel like uncorrupted gems still retain features of theyre corrupted self because they still have mental trauma, they may not remember it, but during corruption they probably went through some pretty bad things, physically or mentally. I feel like once they get more emotional support they will start to lose those animalistic features and go back to normal (fully)
What if... Steven can not control pink Steven because of all the stress and the only way to contain him is to talk to himself within a corruption?!
I think that it might be a "special form" (aka worm stevin) which might activate when he uses enough power but that's just my thought

I think that another way to cure Steven’s corruption, in addition to the song, would be for Steven to be able to talk to a fragment of what remains of Rose/Pink. To bring his arc and the story of the entire series to a close, I think he needs to talk to her, just for a minute or two, and get the closure he needs. This could happen within the mindscape while everyone is trying to reach out to Steven, he could hear Rose’s voice trying to comfort him.
Yes, I know Rose is really gone, but there are echoes of her remaining in her gem, if Pink Steven’s reformation in Change Your Mind is anything to go by.
I had thought that since Steven hasn’t gained full control over his powers was the reason he couldn’t fully heal corrupted gems with the Diamonds help. My other theory is Greg would heal Steven’s corruption because he would think he was an unlovable monster but Dad Universe would never leave him. Realizing that, he would accept his hybrid nature as a diamond human

I've come to find the cure for corruption. I came out crying from being reminded of Peter's pain and terror he had to go through.

I was thinking that Stevonnie could play a role. Since Connie is human, maybe she'd think that the corruption wouldn't affect her and fuse with Steven. They could see Steven's problems first hand, like in Mindful Education, and maybe the butterflies could be bubbled or something like that. That could also be how Steven and Connie make up, because I loved the idea of them ending up on rough terms.
I know the scary corrupting theory is very plausible but we do need a realize that that big worm can just be a gem as well which is kind of ironic cuz a lot of people want to assume that the injector spinel used was not the same when in actuality when injectors are used they kill off life and stuff around it to make gems regardless it's always going to be poisonous

I actually did have a theory that Steven could heal corruption with some of his mental powers, but it was years ago back when we didn't know all that much about them. I thought that if corruption was psychological, that Steven could go into their minds and cure them inside by helping ease their trauma.

I think it's rather important that the scars remain. That the signs of corruption remain. The Gems have been healed, but they've gone through something traumatic. The Scars are reminders of that. They're not who they were, they're something new, someone new. Removing the scars would be like pretending it never happened. Not accepting it.

If the worm/dragon is actually Steven I think it might be his gem half getting corrupted maybe due to him not wanting to be part gem or having his mother's gem anymore so he takes it out like white diamond did which causes that form to corrupt and it's the gems and the diamonds race to the clock before Steven gets too weak/dies to not only uncorrupt the worm without the pink diamond essence but to also convince Steven to accept his gem half again. Maybe it's just me hoping for something too dramatic lmao

Maybe Steven May not get fully corrupted due to basically being made of 1/4th of it but if Steven’s corruption maybe a issue causing his healing powers to not work properly, then perhaps the diamonds could take Steven to the rose fountain if that could help

Because, unlike the Crystal Gems, they loved him for who he is from the very beginning; they never pressured him to become someone he is not or forced him to solve their own problems. They were always there for him to comfort him, whenever he had some crisis.
