    I agree, the french eat very well, cassoulet and things, years back they put small bottles of cognac and wine in the rations. I've heard the Spanish MRes are tasty as well.
    Actually l like your review style, some reviews go on for 40 45 mins, you guys get the point across quickly in under 10min. I like that!

      Thank you, yes we want to try more French menu's as they really impressed us. And thank you for your comment on the length of our reviews. We also found many were too long and you just don't need to see every packet in detail, most of us just want to see it and find out how it tastes, so thats why we are trying to keep these focused and simple. :-)

      I remember those little bottles of wine and cognac in the French military rations in the 80's...

      @@davidtucker7219 I think the lads put the cognac in their coffee, I know the Foreign Legion up until the early sixties , would take the Legion working girls along with them when in the field and crates of beer, wine and spirits

    Those dates looked really nice, much better than those 'Eat Me" dates we used to get in the UK at the greengrocer lol,
