Hey Steve. I visited the Brattle and was given a tote bag by Nicole since I said I know you. Your name opens doors. Thanks!

Thanks Steve. It’s nice to have a little escape from alternating between angry and depressed for the past few days.

I still have a complete set of the Educators Classics Library which included Sherlock Holmes, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Poe, etc... and the entire Funk and Wagnall's Encyclopedia I took to college with me all bought one at a time at the grocery store

The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin is one of my favorites. I never even thought to check if there were a Norton Critical Edition. If that turns up at the Brattle, grab it for me, and I'll get you back. Great video -- helped make my hospital stay more bearable today.

I’m a great admirer of William Dalrymple. Particularly enjoyed In Xanadu. What you said about being a multi millionaire being morally wrong in itself is so true. Dream of Brotherly Love sounds hilarious 🤣 Whatever you want to call your video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks 😊

That's high praise for the Lev Grossman book. I've really enjoyed every book of his that I've read, too, and I love Arthurian literature (especially the sadly unfinished Steinbeck book).

Thanks for sharing your latest thoughts on books. The only one of those I heard of before was Savage Realms. Found out about them from Liam's Lyceum. I also got my first rejection email from them, for the Sword & Sorcery short story I wrote last year. In a world of Epic Fantasy and Grimdark books, I was surprised and delighted to see people still writing my favorite Fantasy subgenre.

I’m pretty sure savage realms is more of POD amazon magazine, there’s a few sword and sorcery magazines (tales of the magicians skull, cirsova, skelos) I think most of them are kickstarter stuff, haven’t really tried any, there’s quite a few free ones and online only as well, and a few anthologies that get published regularly, the quality of quite a few of them leaves much to be desired though, but I haven’t read any of the ones I mentioned, might be good
