Dead I May Well Be is available to me free on audible! I have a particular fascination with Irish/Northern Irish audiobooks... It's now in my library.
The last Brattle book haul of the week, oh yeah, let's see shall we.
About a year ago there was a copy of The Shadow of Blooming Grove for three dollars at my local bookstore. Every week for two or three months I'd look it over and think, "I should get this," and leave it behind. I'd think, "I'll get it next time." Then one day it was gone. It was like finding that a friend had packed up and moved away unannounced, and I still think about it whenever I see it's spot on the shelf.

Of course you did not intend to visit The Brattle. I know how it is. You come back home from a brief morning walk, when a cloud of knockout gas streams through the keyhole. You lose consciousness and you awake in the sale lot of The Brattle with your shoulder bag as a pillow. Happened to McGoohan. 😀
