    Shot the LIFT 33, RX 8 Ultra and the Ethos back to back. Being a Mathews guy, I was dead set on the LIFT walking in. Aaaaaaand I was wrong. That Hoyt draw cycle this year is absolutely butter. Now was set on 70 and I thought it was on 60. I made them put it on the scale to prove that it was at 70lb. The Ethos held better than both and was a tad stiff. I’m sure that now with the comfort mods pulls like a dream. So I walked out with a whole different set of issues to think about 🤪

    Hoyt is a solid bow for sure. Hunted with the RX 7 Ultra last year and it was great

    I’ve been a die hard bowtech guy for over 15 years, and the rx8 is just a superior bow these days for sure.

    This is one of the first reviews that I've watched from you on Bose and I'm really curious to see what you have to say and everything because after I listen to that hunting stories podcast and really got to know a little more about who you are yourself. Aaron, other than just kafari you, you know a lot of shit and are a badass huntering dude and I really like to learn from you so thank you for whatever I'm about to watch and see

    Could I ask wich rises finishes is that Ethos? I find it stunning, the best once I swa from them since they removed the Graphite Gray option...

    I agree almost with everything you said and would pick the 8 also but sorry my dude there is only one bow that had any hand shock and that was the Evolve from PSE. The Ethos has the lowest vibration and noise out of all them so I’m guessing something isn’t right on that bow to give you shock.

    That same hoyt rest on the front you can use on the Ethos as well.

    Wait what was the arrow weight?

  • @TD3_Archery
    @TD3_Archery Před 2 měsíci +1

    74lbs with a solid grip will give you hand shock compared to a thick rubber grip on the Hoyt. Comparing a carbon bow vs aluminum is also kinda silly lol

    Hoyt conveniently rated high this year and coincidently accompanying the podcast sponsorship. I felt the PSE M34 to be superior in performance, tuning, and weight. The Ultra did have better draw cycle at 30.5", 70# over the M34 at same with S2 cams maxed. M34 about 8 fps faster. Ethos does seem legit tho.

    Why do you want to slow down your arrow speed?

      He’s stated in prior podcasts that above 280fps fixed blades don’t fly as well or become finicky to tune. Have noticed the same

      🤣 wheres your phone made? Your computer? Your shoes, clothes, watch, tv, kitchen appliances? 90% of all our stuff is made in China, grow the fuck up.

    • @Buran01
      @Buran01 Před 14 dny

      I don't known if your claim is correct, but for like 20 years 95% of the carbon fiber chassis from all manufacturers including high end brands have been made in China, not to mention the hardware from iPhones has been made mostly in China from Foxconn, so while I will agree that that country was known for decades for having low wage workers and cheap mass produced stuff they are absolutely in the bleeding edge of technology of carbon fiber... And I say this as someone which still prefers aluminium risers...
