I can't explain how much I love this movie. I'm a huge Xavier Dolan fan. Love all his movies and watch each one multiple times. The chemistry between these characters is so intense. That kissing scene,I have played over and over. So amazing. Great edit and music is brilliant. And from this movie I also found Je cherche by Amir. I listen to it on repeat
The atmosphere around them before the kissing scene is so tense that it keeps u on the edge.
What do we expect tho? He made Laurence anyways as well 🤷🏽♀️
What's there to say when it's directed by Xavier Dolan himself. The movie flows in the smoothest way possible and melts into your soul. As for me personally, every emotion I couldn't express or never had the chance to show, was portrayed by the movie as if it was filling empty dots. It felt cozy, warm and sensational.
One of the best edits I've seen in a long while. Timing, music, the whole vibe - I've just watched the movie and I know I'll be coming back here to relive the story. Thank you

that last angst scene about the reccomendation letter, i needed to stopped and cry and then when I was done, I finished it and I was crying again because of the hopeful ending 🥰🥰🥰🥰, love this movie sooo much and even if I don't like open endings that much, at least is not an ending where someone dies or gets back with the gf or it's implied that it was a one sided thing and it's horrible
Finally caved in and joined some streaming service just to watch it! Definitely worth it! But man is this a beautiful edit! Captured the essence of the movie. Definitely added to my list of favorites :) thank you for sharing it!

as beautifully done as this video can be, I'm just so sick and tired of this f'ed up ending in gay story lines -_- it's so frustrating and depressing even that 95% of them end in either death, cheating, or heartbreak like come on.
But... this movie is open ended? I literally just watched it, the ending isn't sad.
Then you don't know too much gays stories.
Then I recommend you watch the season 3 of the series SKAM
I couldn't disagree more - this ending left so much for the viewer to make up for themselves. For me Matt came for Max and they spent the weekend together as Max wanted before he went to Australia (if he even ended up there because I have a feeling they could have taken their relationship to another level). It shows that everyone around those two knows about their feelings, even Matt's girlfriend who took him by force to Max's goodbye party. Matt just needed more time to understand what was it that he felt for Max - and he did finally get it if he came to pick him up from the house.
I get it..but come on, that's like the reality for most gay people in this world, you've to reapize that theres still a lot of gay people who live in a society that doesn't accept them

I have a love-hate relationship with Xavier Dolan films. They're a little too self-indulgent for my taste, and I end up either mostly-liking, kinda-hating, or not knowing WTF I just watched by the end. But this one looks different from most of the others that I've seen so I think I'll give it a try.
