Longwood Octagonal House beautiful ingenious architecture, unfinished due to Civil War! Natchez,M.I.

This was a beautiful Longwood octagon house with a little blue orbit pairing every so often perhaps one of the children or adults that lived in the house. We got to go on a tour of the basement area, where the piano was in the entry room and the room with all the Skylights and family pictures. Then we got to see the children’s room and the parents room later we went outside the back door and went up the staircase into the main part of the house. We could not go up the giant staircase to the spiral top because it is unfinished and dangerous, I wanted so bad to go to the very top where the Asian spiral area was but only architectural students have been up there. It was an awesome tour and I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Natchez Mississippi.
