🔥🔥 Reaction.! This is one of the songs that Ren recorded from his bedroom while he was at the peak of his illness. (He says 25yrs old in the song). He said he has a least 1,000 songs on hard drives from that period. He picked through them and put them out on Demos 1 and 2. Ren's song Penitence is one his best from that period.
I'll give him 1,000 song ideas. But it'd impressive if he had triple digits of finished concepts.

Ren puts words to emotions we can't sometimes express ourselves at times and that we this we are feeling alone.
It is like he says "alright I'll go first, I will share my pain and my story and open the floor and create a space where others can feel safe. So they can tell their own stories of struggling, pain or something similar and not be shunned or judged".
We see these stories in the comments and share our own... Thinking "damn, I thought it was just me".
That is the beauty of Ren and of reaction videos like yours. We listen, watch and then scroll down to see our own pain reflected in other people's stories and comments. ❤

Also I would love to see your reaction to one of my personal favourites: Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and stunning. It is also very different from everything else in his catalogue and deserves way more attention than it gets.

I had never heard of a poonami, even having had 2 babies, albeit nearly 40 years ago. On googling it, I realised it was a common occurrence in motherhood:). Only Ren could educate me about leaking nappies
Poonani is also spelled "punani" . It is Jamaican slang for -- female genitalia. "Poon" is slang for vagina. So Ren was talking about a - smooth poonani (vagina). 😂you have an "M" in the spelling, it is an "N". I always knew (poon) meant " pussy" when I was a teen but didn't know what "poonani" meant.
