- I'm this video we will be looking at arresting people!
Is arrest the right thing to do?
Remember to keep things PLANE and to use your PAW (you'll have to watch to see what they mean!
Thanks so much for being part of the community

Hi there.
I'm training at the moment. :)
I was wondering if could you do one more video on doing the back and forths with force control on the airwave? Especially with different states you would have to do on a daily basis. What is worth updating and what is not worth updating?
Also perhaps an arrest going smoothly verbally and not smoothly for another video?
Many thanks.
Great suggestions! Thank you :)
Would be nice to see some laws about GDPR or Officer Body-Worn Video
These can be found online.
Hi,
Can you send out more videos of IPLDP as I'll be doing that next year.
Kind regards Billy Forrest
Hi im in 4th week of training i get my uniform in 2 weeks time have you got a easy method on remembering the cautions as im finding it hard to remembering them .. ive learned alot with your videos . Thank you
Hi, I found the easiest way was to break it into sections.
1. You do not have to say anything
2. But it may harm your defence
3. If you do not mention
4. When questioned/now
5. anything you which you later rely on in court
6. Anything you do say may be given in evidence
Hope this helps
The caution is very easy and is self evident
Hi Hayley what is the difference between section 1 PACE and section 24 please??
Section 1 PACE is a officers right to stop and search a suspect they have reasonable grounds to believe they have certain articles on them
Section 24 is the right to conduct a lawful arrest supported by the relevant necessity criteria
@Craig Turley cheers Craig apologies i was meant to ask the difference between section 24 and 28??
@@howiepallie4455 Section 28 details what a person should be told at the time of the arrest to make it lawful, that being:
- That they are under arrest
- What they are being arrested for
- The necessity of that arrest

Hi Yusif, there are complaints procedures you can follow. Each individual force should have details of this on their websites, there is also this www.policeconduct.gov.uk/complaints/submit-a-complaint hope you get sorted
The police cuffed me at roadside to sesrch me. Can they do it.
Yes they can use reasonable force to conduct a search and handcuffing can be justified in certain circumstances
Sitting on chair, then to the floor then handcuffed and pinned me down with his knee to my ribs offered 30k
