Definitely one of earth's more underrated songs
How can you say this is "underrated"? First of all, there are no ratings, only chart positions, derived from music sales. Secondly, this is an album track, so unless I am wrong, show me where to find these ratings you're speaking of please?
Otherwise, this is (in my opinion, yours too) a mighty fine track, that may be "under appreciated", given it was not released as a single

I listened to this song 30 consecutive times, my neighbour at College eventually banged on my door begging me to stop as he couldn't take it any more. I just turned the volume down and kept listening another 20 times

in a way he always will be that man dancing to this song, the same way my late mom was always the same person who would sing accapella in songs and drive me crazy at the time... that I'd give everything I had today for one more reminder of what I actually felt like when I still had hope for a better tommorow.

Maurice had such a soaring and soul piercing tenor.
My (former) wife and I saw these guys, live, in 1976 at the Forum in L.A. It was a bit much for us at the age of 29. I never saw so much fire & smoke at a concert in my entire life and I probably attended 100 live acts in, and around, L.A. from 1971 thru the end of the that decade.
They were always a Great Draw and with the Musicians were always hot.
You chose a fantastic decade of music to attend concerts during 👍🙂

Listened to it again and all I can say is that you created one hell of a stellar track. I love it. You guys took a song that didn't need anything else but managed to give it a shot in the arm. I can't believe what you guys have done. Can't Let Go is my favorite EWF tune along with In the Stone and its nice to have this remix.
