Based on watching andy's play, when andy bets over pot like 150% pot size bet it is mosty bluff, when he values bet it is rarely over a pot size bet, maximum 120% pot size bet

The way Andy puts pressure on the players usually works for people who played with scared money or just casual players. Players like Ling and Will are good enough and not scared enough to make those calls, especially knowing how Andy plays.

Ling Ling is an underrated player. She has a lot of ability, she can play really well when she's patient. When she's not she can really loose a lot quickly.

Andy’s second hands turn bet makes literally 0 sense. Dude bets 26k on a 18k pot with the most equity he can possible have- only problem is that the other guy has 40k behind. This is essentially going all in for max pressure but somehow leaving enough for the other guy to make to make the tough call to go all in. It makes no sense. If he jams, you have no fold equity with 8 high and 1 card to come. Had Andy just jammed, that might have gotten a fold but his weird 75% of villian stack bet is the absolute worst for all senerio.
and the best part is, what he did is the perfect play, go figure :)
@@matta5749 you have to study the spot, he's OOP and his sizings are very clear; 1/3 or polarized (psb or b150), he overbets for max fold equity and so that if he gets jammed on by AT+ he can call profitably. His other sizing option is 1/3 and shove river or 1/3 or check, but his flop CR value range has no 1/3 turn line (2pr+) so he plays the turn perfectly. Yes he bricks out but it's completely standard and shows he has a strong understanding of deep stack cash (theory wise)

Agree, the sizing makes no sense. In the ideal scenario he wants a call on the turn amd fold on river. The bet assures the opposite.
@@matta5749 because you are now giving him the option of going all in or folding BECAUSE of the implied river bet- rather than what you have already done. People are not machine. Jamming there is ALMOST same as betting 75% but it’s not the SAME. Because of that, there is no reason to do it.
TL;DR: the difference is that you are now telling the OOP villain to think critically and play the pot as if the 75% bet is essentially a jam- even tho it isn’t physically.

he's got the right to do whatever he wants my guy. boxing is hard in a lot of ways that people don't understand or respect. guys go from the top of the world to feeling like they're nothing. friends ditch them, the works. they've hopefully got people around them who care, but in the end they have to figure out how to lose and move forward on their own. some guys come back stronger and we hope garcia is one of them. he's got to get into the gym and work on fundamentals, keeping his chin protected and using his speed and his height to do things other than look phenomenal on offense and knock guys out. garcia is a likeable guy and you hope that he feels confident and like himself more and more moving forward. that's all you can ask of him right now. he's young and in the toughest point of his career and maybe his life.

Andy's overbet on turn forced Will into all in. Unless he wanted an all in it was a mistake. Will only had around 45k so 26k forced his hand
