The design is very basic and plain for what's suppose to be a holiday collector doll. They could've put her in a pretty Christmas dress with lots of details, given her more luscious hair maybe with a Christmas bow in it. Or maybe even give her a fur coat. That would've made her look great. This is just very little in an oversized box. Too much presentation and not enough quality in the doll instead.
Going to keep it real. I’m fatigued from these dolls. I’m on hiatus. Don’t have the royal three and don’t really care to get them either. I just need a break from doll collection. Let MGA learn the hard way. (Eliza is life though and I already preordered her)
Three problems about the Roxie doll: 1. Nothing about her really says "holiday." She looks like a fourth member of the Rainbow Divas. 2. Her hair isn't styled like it was in the cartoon nor the box art. 3. $60 is too much. It's not like she has real gemstones on her. So yeah, as pretty as she is, I'll pass on buying her & get the dolls I want when they're on clearance.
I disagree a little bit with the opinion that she has nothing that screams holiday. Because to me her dress is like a icicle or snow. But this is personally just my opinion. No hate. I agree with everything. I got her at $30. I waited for sale.

Still haven't bought a single Rainbow vision doll while catching up on Shadow High series 1! YES. The only lucky thing is at this rate by the time I'm ready to buy there's some degree of discount. And I'm not even a completionist either I only buy favs and I'm still not up to date. Combine that with MH coming out DAMN.
The want us to paid money for rainbow cardboard😂. This is a disappointing reveal. MGA is getting greedy. If they want to save on money just slow down on the releases. Cause I just cant pay $60 for that.
I feel like Roxy should’ve had a more ball gown type dress that way the box at least is filled up by the dress Or came with a long for coat like nye queen and they should’ve at least priced it closer to 50 not 60 60 is what we got with Jett Dawson I feel like we’re getting a $40 doll in this case And if they really wanted to push the envelope and make it 60 they should’ve at least given her like a little outfit that’s hidden inside the box or given her a really cool stand like the OMG holiday dolls

It seems that visual artistic boxes are really what they investing more money into, rather than the critical parts of what make RH such an amazing doll line for basiically, playline quality. Not going to say i was disappointed with the no second outfit becouse if MGA has released 7 dolls this year with only 1 outfit, it's safe to say this is what they sticking with. Those are SH & RH costume ball dolls & Maria Gracie, the collector dotd doll. & Apparently now this one. I understand why in some other lines they didn't include one ( cheer & JH) but look at the criticism of PC. They had no second outfit exept a bathing suit, bag & towel & some how were more expensive than JH I'm so glad to see MGA doing Yet ANOTHER MERMAID STYLE DRESS!!! I guess individuality between Jett & Roxy shouldn't exist, seeing as there basiically for same line up. Neither should they really with the other girls, Maria Gracie has a cultural Reason why she wears a flameko dress, as she is a Catrina, which wore the European style of dress to mock the higher aristocrats but royal divas? Not really sure 🤷 Unless you can change my mind by giving me facts , the future of RH is 1 doll 1 outfit ( 3-4 pieces, if at all) 2 pair of shoes 1 doll stand & 1 doll brush in matching colours & Also apparently 1 super stlized box All for bargain price of £60. & That's meant to be the standard Collector doll. Bet the next release of RH & SH will be £40 for an artistic box. Personally, if be happy with the made thicker plastic bags, aslong as we are getting the real RH dolls. If this is meant to be MGA's next doll in a fashion based line, they either need new managers, new design team or inside scoop on the doll tea we wamt to drink. Very pretty doll, but certainly not for $60.00! The simple solution to keep corporations from over pricing their products; DONT BUY IT! It's the most POWERFUL way to make them price thing's fairly. Let that doll gather dust on the shelves till they mark it down to a reasonable price and then if your still interested grab one. The fact that corporations are in existence to make as much money as possible should not be a surprise to any doll collector. I think we are well aware that they will try their best to ease the prices up if they can. I don't get upset anymore. I vote with my wallet. I will not buy over priced dolls of any kind, period! It's the quiet and very effective power we all possess.

Not being funny peachy, but the size of box doesn't really do anything when buying her anyways. The reason your not getting much for the doll is because there's nothing worth buying ABOUT it. Also, I think this might be more of a prototype rather than official product?
Here were my ideas of a rainbow high Christmas doll and what I think would make a better idea than Roxie ^^. 1. A candy cane inspired doll, red and white hair, green eyes, 2 different outfits. A formal one and causal one. 2. A christmas tree inspired doll, dark green hair the color of a pine christmas tree with lots of hair accessories representing ornaments. Crystal like colored eyes. A formal and casual outfit included.
With the flop, the costume ball, and now Roxie coming out with no second outfit with the all the upcoming releases also not getting a second outfit just solidified my reasoning for picking and choosing the RH/SH dolls to buy

With waaaayyy too many RH and SH dolls being released one after the other, I don’t got time or money for basic dolls lol, much rather hunt for Royal 3 and costume ball girls waaaayyy more

I feel like a lot of fans may stop buying after costume ball because of the one outfit debacle, MGA may as well start digging their grave if series 5 are ALSO higher in cost. Its one thing if this happened slowly over the course of a two years but this is literally all within half a year. I was expecting winter glam… like winter wonderland. Like sparkly snow flake make up, they could have done color changing lights in the box to add detail. Or maybe even make the dress it self light up, give us chrome jewelry, chest articulation, she’s visually boring.
I thought she was gorgeous but not worth $60. Sorry but I might pass on her seeing as they played it safe with Roxy and didn’t pull out all the stops to make her worth getting.
Yeah I'm not impressed, then again I wasn't impressed with the character when she showed up in the last episode either. So the doll being lackluster was something I saw coming a mile away. The crystal look on the packaging is cool but the box being as BIG as it is is superfluous, wasteful, and pointless! Since she doesn't come with any accessories or hidden goodies there are just spots of empty space to remind you everything that isn't in the box! I'm typing this as I listen to the video so thank you for agreeing with me Peachy lol. Like as a a regular doll release she'd be fine, but as a special ANYTHING this is just dumb. Also studs pop off SO easily on rainbow high dolls so having a doll whose dress relies on little pieces that are likely going to fall off the second you touch her just means her dress is eventually going to be just a white gown anyways. They could have at least printed a silver design on the dress so it had something left when the rhinestones pop off. Needless to say I'm not buying, wasn't planning to from the character in the show, but now not even on clearance would I consider it. Now MH Draculaura Howliday doll doesn't have to try very hard to beat Roxie
