Trivia: When I told Nicholas how to properly shift this thing a couple of days prior, of course there was some grinding involved, too. When he got out of the car, his shoe caught on the step plate and sheared his sole of. The car DOES get its revenge ;)
@Astra-Werke I just had the engine rebuilt with insert bearings as my center main bearing exploded. Now I am waiting for a special 6.5 head (2 spark plugs per cylinder) to be cast and ordering an aluminum or bronze timing gear. Unfortunately I am deployed to Africa until April so It will just have to wait. Also I am sad I didn't find your channel earlier. I am an amateur clockmaker and I greatly enjoy seeing your micro-mechanic videos. I will be posting a few videos in the future of a few clocks I have worked on. Have a good week!
Did your car start behaving like this after the installation of the headlight visors? This may be the angry spirit of Athena! Possessing a Model A is great, but a Model A that is possessed is probably less desiarable! Fröhliches Halloween!
