We do this same thing but sometimes poke a small pinhole in a water bottle cap with our tungsten and squirt it where wewant it to pull (which i know we probably shouldn't) but it moves that pipe so fast!
Thank you for making and posting these videos man. I live in Northern Michigan and I'm 40 +. Been welding for 4 or so years now ... due to my situation I will likely never weld pipe ... or work on a rig ... though I'm very interested in all that ... these videos are neat cause we can get close to all that ...kinda anyway. Thanks again for taking and making time to do what you do.
thanks man i try my best to give good info ..and its pretty hard to do both work and youtube but slowly but surely ill grow my channel thanks for the support
Man I'm so sorry about you hitting that fender on your rig truck. I know it make you sick. I've been watching your post for a while to really enjoy your work. I'm a retired pipeline rig welder. I broke out with my rig and 79 do a structure work then I went to drilling rig work then I went to transmission lines then I went to distribution. Should have done the distribution first but they just worked out that way. I'm 67 now been retired five years. I'm from Houston actually Sugar Land. I lost my eyesight in my left eye. So I can't do any code work anymore I've always been a stick welder never a TIG hand World Wireman but I really enjoy watching you do what you do. I have the perfect eyesight in my right eye with corrective lenses but I can't read or weld with the center part of my left eye I have good peripheral vision but it is what it is. I live in North Carolina now been here 16 years have friends that are still in the natural gas business. I got into Bridge welding about 10 years ago on and off up here and it pays real well for splicing piles and Welding Bridge girders. So I was suggested maybe you look into something like that also to fall back on. Take care of yourself be safe on your travels whatever you do. I'll tell all my friends and I'll pass this on to you. You keep your doors locked and your pistol cock because the boogeyman is out there. Oh by the way I had to rig stolen in July of 87 in southwest Houston when I stop to eat supper after I had work late what used to be in texts back in the day then it changed to Enron which we all know what happened there. It took a long time to recover from a rig theft so be careful with your stuff buddy use any anti-theft things you can put on and things lockdown whatever it is take care I've got an automatic voice activated on this phone so when I talk to you is like I'm writing a book to you. Take care of yourself again be safe. Mark Scott
thanks for supporting my channel 🙏🏼 wow man you ben welding for some years what you think about the welding industry you think we on our last couple of years? and yea man i try to stay safe at all times out vision is very important and we need to take care of them i was just telling my wife that i need to upgrade our insurance just in case someone steals it its very bad here in Houston smh...i seen a few rig welders working on bridges i always wonder how that was ill def look into that asap!
save up for a PAPR system...best investment you can ever make. You only get one set of lungs. Also keeps you super cool...you can take jobs in 100+ degree temps when everyone else bitches out.
Whats the code for that pipe? API 1104? Also be careful bro because you said in a previous video one of your companies allowed you to film for your CZcams channel i can bet they look at a video or two to see what you post.

man i was sick!
That’s a badass truck bro!
thanks hopefully i can start to add more things to it
Great videos
Just Found your channel and bro these are some banger tips
Glad you like them!
Do you have any future plans to put together a welding specific bed, or are you goin to keep the regular bed long term?
Is the welding rig that heavy to need a 3500 dually diesel truck..?
2500 can do it but it safe with the dually sicne you have that extra tires in the back dont wanna catch a blowout doing 75mph in that 2500
so did u dry wash it over the existing cap?
Bro make a vid on the type of welding lens you use etc..
Will do ...i have a link in the description if you wanna check it out
Maybe time to ditch the tub. Do your own custom bed setup exactly the way you like.
Ring heat.
If you meed a helper let me know bro. I'm from the rgv not far from Houston
Don't tekashi69 me. That was f#$king funny.
Bro I forgot to send the link ima send it tonight lol
