This reminds me of my mother in law. I’ve been with my husband for 12 years and 3 sons. Last December we found out he has brain cancer. Before he went in for brain surgery he told myself and his family that he has a life insurance policy for a significant amount for the kids and I. After that his mom and sister began telling him I just want him to die so I can get his life insurance policy. And that he should write us off the policy and put their names on it. And whatever the kids need they will provide. I’m a stay at home mom of a 5 year old, 1 year old and newborn. I depend on him so much more than just a check. I can’t believe after being around his family for 12 years they could turn on me like that. Money really brings out the worst in people. 😔

This reminds me of my mother in law. I’ve been with my husband for 12 years and 3 sons. Last December we found out he has brain cancer. Before he went in for brain surgery he told myself and his family that he has a life insurance policy for a significant amount for the kids and I. After that his mom and sister began telling him I just want him to die so I can get his life insurance policy. And that he should write us off the policy and put their names on it. And whatever the kids need they will provide.
I’m a stay at home mom of a 5 year old, 1 year old and newborn. I depend on him so much more than just a check. I can’t believe after being around his family for 12 years they could turn on me like that. Money really brings out the worst in people. 😔
