I mean, fake VHS openings are not necessarily a bad thing if you get creative with them. But the ones I do have a problem with are ones such as the 1977 VHS of Foodfight or the 1986 VHS of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie or some stupid shit like that. Those are definitely cringe. The best ones I could find that did amuse me IMO were ones made by my good friend, Angry Sheep Productions, formerly Brandon Panek and burb teh tomaitoe.
