So I wanted to make a flower to go on each side of my burlap sack curtains with burlap sack valance. We needed an 8" wreath form to make a flower. We couldn't find a small wreath form si we looked around Dollar Tree and found the white colanders. We cut off the handles and proceeded using your instructions to make the petals. We left the middle open and used rope to decorate the middle and then glued in a few pebbles. I am so in love! We had bought two rolls of the 10" striped burlap mesh and one roll of the 5" green mesh. We will have to get 2 more rolls of the striped burlap mesh finish the 2nd one. I'm so excited! Thank you for the inspiration!
Genius idea! Would love to see a photo of your work.
@@JuliesWreathBoutique I cannot add a photo here. Let me see if I have you on fb or Instagram.

Hi Julie i love your work.
Thank You!
Hi from Lake Havasu City AZ.
I like the second one
You can get this burlap stripe mesh at trendy tree and they have a lot of choices and colors and Stripes. I think that store is becoming one of my favorites!
Never heard of that store..where do u live?
@@cheriwhitley8385 I live in Demotte! Indiana but I actually found it online@trendytree.com
I prefer the rope center
Thank you
Love that
Drywall dust probably has contributed to your sore throat and nasal stuffiness. This is a beautiful wreath, I am happy to make this.❤️
Beautiful and really easy! It's a pity that these materials aren't sold in Greece.
I wish you could get the materials too.
The rope one is real cute.
Mel's. Crafty Mojo has cream burlap mesh!
let them know I sent you 😀😊
i like the flat center best
What brand wire cutters do you use? They look like they are easy on your hands.
Rope is cute
The first one has more of a country look
I like the 2
Hi I love your work! And I am attempting my first wreath! I could only find a 12" form so I added a center grid like you did on the large sunflower(14") video.. My question is, do I add the plastic canvas to the entire wire frame center or just the "inner" smaller grid that I made?
Only the center of the wreath frame is needed. Hope this helps.
This is a crazy question...but do you attach the burlap with the wreath form in dome form or bowl form?
Hobby lobby has the mesh.
Julie, what kind of glass do you use to use the wood burning tool for the cutting of the burlap.
I cut my burlap with the rotary cutter and got all frayed edges.
I have them in my amazon affiliate store www.amazon.com/shop/julieswreathboutique
The second one
Your clipper manufacturer may sharpen them for you or send you a new pair, if you send them back. It doesn’t matter when you purchased, it’s worth a try.
Sorry if this sounds stupid after you do the first section do you use the petal on the crossbar as one of the four tan petals or do you make 5 petals in the 2nd section.
Love your videos and thanks for your help with this
For the first layer of petals I use only the tan, and it’s a total of 5 on the crossbars and 2 in each section for a total of 15 petals. The second row is within the sections, nothing on the brackets, so two of the ivory with a tan in between the two ivory petals.
Definately the second
I love your wreaths! I'm a new subscriber and I'd like to try to make my first wreath. I wanted to ask where is the best place to buy supplies?
I like to buy my mesh here thewreathshop.com/?afmc=1s
All of my tools are in my amazon affiliate shop www.amazon.com/shop/julieswreathboutique
I did not find the link you were going to leave for your friend who makes a whole flower with the petals. Your wreath looks like it might work for me. Thank you.
It’s in the description box above, Dean Michael Designs.
I like the brown plaid. Where do you get the glass for wood burning?
This is the one I use, love the size. amzn.to/2Sgr6m6
Love it! Decided to try this look as my first wreath with poly burlap (I tried the kind you did with fabric). But, curious what's the trick to keeping the fabric mesh from fraying since you're not using the wood burner?
Shantel One thing I’ve learned is to spray with the spray adhesive
You used fabric or fabric mesh? Fabric mesh will fray some but you just need to be gentle with it. If you’re using fabric you can use mod podge and paint the edges to help with fraying. I also spray with rust-o-Leum clear matte acrylic spray to help stiffen up your fabric petals.
Thank you for the tips! I will remember that going forward. :)

I am attempting to make my first wreath. I seem to be having trouble with attaching the petals with the zip ties as the petals seem to want to twist sideways on the frame and not fan straight out from the frame, if that makes sense. Am I just too OCD? Thanks! Love your videos!
Try adding another zip tie the opposite direction and it will straighten out your petal. Watch this video where I demonstrate that process: czcams.com/video/saBjy6xaNFA/video.html
Your wreaths are amazing. Where I find the materials?
the 2nd one
❤❤❤
Hi, I'm a newbie here. I love the striped poly burlap mesh that looks like straw, can you tell me what the colors are and where I can purchase it? Thank you. Love your videos.
Yes, the products should be found at the wreath shop at thewreathshop.com/?afmc=1s
You will search for 10” fabric mesh
10” poly burlap mesh
2👍
question? could you use the hot burner tool, with the deco mesh?
You definitely can use it with the deco mesh.
Fyi; when your comments go away is because no one is texting. BUT💜 if you tap your screen/tablet/pjone they'll come back on😛💙💙💙

I'm going to make this for a gift and have watched the video a couple of times, but just have one question. Do I need to use the hot-iron cutting tool on all of the burlaps or just the wide-weaved one? Or can I use rotary cutter on the poly burlap petals? Thanks so much!
I would recommend using the wood burner on any poly burlap, it will help reduce the frays and your frustration, I was not able to use the wood burner on the fabric mesh though. You will do great!
@@JuliesWreathBoutique ok, thank you!!
Second one
Julie do you prefer to use the zip ties instead of pipe cleaners?
I like both, depends on the style of petal I’m doing.
That's OK, cream!
#2
How did you make the round rope for the center?
2nd one
I like number 2
Where do you get those frames? I can't find them.
Love the wreath, what temperature do you use for your burner?
I need to know also.
Mine only has an on and off switch so it has no settings. amzn.to/2uCXaHi
Which wood burner tip did you use? The one shaped like the knife blade?
