    Good work! Very compact! You could make a live suspension with that axle! Keep up the good work! 👍

    I'm currently making a 16 cylinder hotrod and I need a compact braking system so I'm going to attach a fixed differential to the front wheels and then attach a braking system to the differential

  • @Ice-Qube
    @Ice-Qube Před 5 lety

    Why are you referring to the the Driveshaft as Output?
    The Driveshaft is a Input.
    You put Rotary Energy IN to Archive Motion of the Wheels.
    I agree that the Driveshaft could be a Output if there is another thing to drive the Wheels,
    but in your example you put the Output of the Motor straight to the Input of your Axle.
    The Steering mechanism isn't that great in my opinion because
    you need to rotate the Steering shaft by 90° and need a high gear down ratio
    because you have a steering angle of just 20°.
    For Example the Steering mechanism of the 42093 could be adapted to this Build.

    if you attach two pully wheels on one tire w/out pinholes with a 2m rod, it will attach to the axle!

  • @adriantrans-amgta5981
    @adriantrans-amgta5981 Před 4 lety

    If you want the servo to steer, that may require that the servo be behind the axle and that a beam be used to attach the motor to the steering thingy.
    Edit. Well i guess you already did that!

    • @dgustafsson13
      @dgustafsson13  Před 7 lety

      MAGOOBRICKS Thanks! well if you've got the right sized washer, it works kind of, however finding a washer with the exact thickness may be hard. And also, I personally wouldn't use it today cause when enough torque is applied, the plastic gears will just get mangled and destroyed because of the high forces

    • @dgustafsson13
      @dgustafsson13  Před 7 lety

      +xRaptorScreamx Well it's not the visual part that's bugging me really, instead mostly the fact that it's more complicated than LDD or Stud.io for example, almost, a little over complicated in my opinion

    • @xRaptorScreamx
      @xRaptorScreamx Před 7 lety

    Nice! Synd att LDD är så begränsat. Hoppas de uppdaterar snart igen! Är faktiskt förvånad att de inte lade till denna del i förra uppdateringen...

    • @dgustafsson13
      @dgustafsson13  Před 7 lety

      +ThinkCleverAndSmart Tackar! Ja jag förstår verkligen inte varför de verkar satsa mindre och mindre på LDD..😐

    • @ThinkCleverAndSmart
      @ThinkCleverAndSmart Před 7 lety

      Jag trodde ett tag att de slutade helt. Det hade gått två år utan uppdateringar, vilket också gjorde att jag inte kunde uppdatera min dator då den versionen av LDD inte fungerade i nya Mac versionen. Sedan kom en uppdatering med nya bitar och kompabilitet!! Så jag kunde äntligen uppdatera datorn och bygga nya grejer! Detta kanske betyder att de kommer med fler uppdateringar ändå?

    • @dgustafsson13
      @dgustafsson13  Před 7 lety

      ThinkCleverAndSmart När kom den senaste uppdateringen? För jag har inte uppdaterat på evigheter så jag kanske missat den uppdateringen (igen hehe😒) vet du om några andra nya bitar har tillkommit isf? För ja om de uppdaterade nyligen så kanske det finns hopp om framtiden🙂
