That " New York New York" song was a diss track from the intro of them using 5 percent terms and our slang in a mocking kind of way then the scene of Snoop kicking over the building was a stab at here.
The original doesn't have them mocking the east coast, the kicking over buildings was filmed after they got shot at in NY.
