    It really doesn't come with the best manual does it?!
    I've got the same and am mounting a rim brake specialized tarmac with QR's and wondering do I need spacer "C"?! And if so where? Right now I've got it setup without it?

      Yes. I don't know the rider weight limit, but it's very solidly built. I'd wager a guess that, if you don't break your bike, you won't easily break the trainer either.

    Hi, Nice video !! I just got my elite suito last week. On my current bike I have a 11 speed cassette so technically I should just put it on there and it should work fine...Unfortunately my gear is skipping and making a lot of noise ( a little like you in your video ) I am out of lube and all the stores are closed :( ( I did order from amazon but it takes a little while ).
    Is it possible that it does that because of the dry cassette ??
    Thanks I am desperate !!

    • @TacomaCyclist
      @TacomaCyclist  Před 3 lety

      It is possible, but if it's not that, it could be a little bit of misalignment at the rear derailleur. I have to move mine inboard by 1mm on every trainer I use. If you have barrel adjusters on your rear derailleur, do 2 to 4 clicks counter clockwise and see if that helps. If better, awesome. If worse, try the other way. You'll have to do the opposite when you put the bike back on the road. I've had to do this with every direct drive trainer.

    • @TacomaCyclist
      @TacomaCyclist  Před 3 lety

      @@etiennecasteil6649 you should already have one on your gear cable. It's to make minute adjustments on your shifting. Generally, it's right next to the rear derailleur.

    Hey guys, after putting on my bike I can see that my chain is touching the right side of my front derailleur, so my chain is not straight and touches the bigger gear on the back (so the suito cassette) Anybody who can help me? Do I need to adjust the back derailleur or also the front?! Thx!!!

    • @TacomaCyclist
      @TacomaCyclist  Před 2 lety

      It should seat just fine without adjustments. However, I have found that done bikes do require a minor rear adjustment to ride more smoothly on direct drive trainers. However, the thing you're talking about sounds more like a whole rear mech alignment may be needed. The good news is, it's a cheap and quick job at most bike shops

      @@zaniarramadhani7288 Just checked out that video. Thanks for sharing. I see a couple things there. First, this is an early gen. They've since fixed a few issues. Second, I can almost guarantee that the OP of that video put that skewer on wrong. There is a spacer on the non drive side of the skewer that goes **outside** the bike frame to allow vertical motion. I bet money he put it on the inside which put the skewer way too far out making it unstable. Plus, since he doesn't know that a derailleur hanger is a very cheap and easily broken part, my guess is that he's not too sure of what he was doing.
      I wish him the best and it sounds like, based on the comments below his video that Elite made things right.
      Cheers!
