    Love the different intro videos. Helpful for all us ‘beginners’. Suggestion: Similar videos on Dynamics 365 will be appreciated. Our company is busy with roll out and would like to learn more.

      Glad you like them! There are new people joining the Power Platform train every day so we have to make sure we are making relevant content for them! Is there anything specific you want to see on Dynamics 365? That's a big topic for sure :)

    Hi April does this require share point to be fully developed as a back end application? We have business basic license for all users & a single license of business standard for the company CEO. Also I would like to know if this share point requires some developer to develop it, I have never used SharePoint before or know how it works. We normally use Ms one-drive & MS teams for regular activities for communication & sharing of files. I am also not sure if the license we currently hold is of any use. Kindly reply

    Great video April! Question - I just discovered Azure Logic Apps and it looks very similar to Power Automate flows. What is the difference and when would I use one over the other?

    • @AprilDunnam
      @AprilDunnam  Před 3 lety +1

      Great question Hamza! So Power Automate is built on top of Azure Logic Apps. It all comes down to use case and audience. Logic Apps is geared more toward the pro dev audience (people who work in Azure already) whereas Power Automate is geared toward a much broader audience. Also, another distinguishing factor is the connectors. In general, Power Automate has many more connectors than Logic Apps does. And finally, it comes down to use case and costs associated. Power Automate runs in a per user licensing capacity whereas Logic Apps is a consumption model.

      Hi - Not at the same time, it has to be one at a time.

    Is there a video to show us how to schedule a flow to open a website that will run a report, download the report, open report in excel, run a macro on it, etc. I know power automate desktop can open websites, but I can’t figure it out for the cloud version.

    Thanks, April. Pretty sure there's a typo at the end, scheduled flows can be set to run every month too (probably the last Days was supposed to be Months) :). Defo a typo (ha, it rhymes also).

      @AprilDunnam  Před 3 lety +1

      That answers my question if someone is going to notice the mistake on that slide lol. You are correct, that should be months (tried to explain that since I mistyped on the slide)
