Loved this. Great ideas. Saw the outtakes at the end. My cats have made small holes in my silk pieces before and I've found a couple of solutions. Sometimes if I gently rub the area I realize the cat didn't actually tear the fabric he just pulled the threads apart---kind of like a thick needle pushing through it. If that is the case gently rubbing the spot between your fingers and pulling the fabric in line with the weave eliminates the hole almost entirely. The second, if there is a hole, is to get the thinnest silk thread, or any thin matching color thread, and do a weave stitch--the key here is making it loose--or you could go avant-garde and do some fun embroidery. The final repair I've done is when the cat pulls the thread and there is a floppy loop that I can't get back into the weave. If that is the case I use the smallest crochet hook--typical for making delicate lace--and I pull the pulled thread to the other side so its on the inside and not visible. Voila like new again. I hope the tear isn't too bad and one of these tips helps. Great styling ideas. Loved them all and they've given me so many tips for the winter months.

I absolutely love this! The looks are so creative and inspiring. I love that you are not into buying loads of clothes like the other "influencers". I think it's really realistic considering the current situation, a lot of people are tight with money. Having this "shop your wardrobe" mentality really helps ground people instead of feeling FOMO and then guilty for making unnecessary purchases. Worse especially now during all the Black Friday sales!
Kitties and nice jumpers don’t mix? We have cats and I normally put a soft blanket on me first before they sit on me! Love these looks, the coat is amazing! I’m proud of myself as I’ve resisted the BF sales and only bought a couple of essential layering pieces which were not in the sale and so useful for creating more looks from the clothes I already own. 😊

There some really nice belts at the thrift store. But a lot of them fall into the smaller sizes or XXlarge and since you are so tiny in the waist that probably a plus on finding some real quality leather belts. Loved everything except for the idea of wearing linen in winter. I think that is really a summer/spring material. Another note, you are very slim, which allows you to layer and layer. Some of us look huge with that many layers!!

I love transition outfits where you take spring/summer pieces and style into a fall/winter outfit. Also I think you pulled off the baggy pant in boot look very well. It looked stylish and chic and not like some little girl wanting to play in her rain boots look lol
Great video! Oh, the challenges of being a cat mom! I have had my share of cringeworthy moments! Holes and snags on clothing….just unavoidable when owning a car! However, we just love our babies! Note…I have found that if the fibers weren’t severed, you can gently rub the fabric together or carefully use your fingernail to realign the tiny threads.

The black lining cargo suit would go great with the boots if it were tailored at the bottom to show the portions of your legs and calfs. I like the other option with the gray turtleneck, black leather slim pants and black leather boots for that makes you more attractive. I would recommend that the turtleneck be tailored also to make that outfit better. Overall, great work Emily Elizabeth May.
Cargo suit with jumper on - in order to go to the toilet would have to remove jumper and pull cargo suit down to the knees. This is why I never wear jump suits. They look wonderful but the difficulty makes them very impractical. Lovely clothes in the video though. Well done :)
