In this video I take a picture with my phone from the V for Vendetta comic book then print out the image onto a transparency. I burn the image into an EZscreenprint sheet and then print the deisgn onto a shirt using Speedball Ink.
I have used a alot of screen printing kits. Like the ones you can get from Ryonet. but this is just so simple and easy. I like catspitproductions videos, I wish I had a space that large to work in!
I do not recommend Yudu. It does not remove enough of the steps to be worth buying it over a Speedball Kit.

I am a graphic arts major and I love screen printing. This is my new favorite way to do tshirts. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Michele Myankazt Question how to do multiple colors with it? :0
You have to do a screen for each section with the same color; for example if his eyes and hat feather are both blue they would be on the same screen separate from everything else. I hope I am not confusing you. Good luck on your shirts, please send me a pic if you do one with multiple colors.
I think you should check the definition of the "simple" word again.
Norman Mont definitely 😅
Cremas tartas para veganos
there is a eazyer way
Norman Mont lol!
😂😂😂 lol true!...
this seems really complicated!..😕😕😕
Big Nate you are insane bro! This video is one of the many I watched back when I first started printing shirts. Thanks for influencing my printing career from the get-go.
Great idea. It's about the quality of the print. You can clearly see it comes out very well, and the face you can reuse it over and over, it's excellent.
Thank you! This is exactly the kind of thing ive been looking for! Im ordering a kit this week. Cant wait!
Thank you do much. Been searching and searching for something just like this. Thank you again😀👍
I love your product. So much quicker than traditional screenprinting.
Rebecca Salcedo you look delicious. Contact me, we will hookup.
Yes simple is relative...but after years of teaching art, I gave up on all the work it takes to make screens, stretch, coat, expose and reclaim. Maybe this year my students will get the chance to experience the fun of screenprinting with these products. Thank you for a great tutorial...my students will definitely enjoy your video, too...as I did. Know anyone who wants a pile of old screens?
Thank you for the Inkscape reference especially the Trace bitmap tip!
This is a really awesome technique, thnx for sharing it. I was looking for a simpler way to screen print, but on-demand style. This is definitely a great way to do it. I love that fact that you dont need to use a bulky wood or metal frame, just simple sheets.
Thank you! Finally! A man that gets it! Sheesh. so much negativity.
I'm buying this kit now turn my art to shirts I can wear so cool
Some folks are fussy, I think you did an amazing job, thank you so much for the information
Thanks for posting this! I definitely want to try it out.
So creative my friend love the idea t-shirt looks dope AF 👌
This is fantastic!!!
Clear instructions. I think I will give it a try. I like the pre-sensitized sheets. Gonna check them out.
thank you so much for the tutorial. It was a very informational!! hopefully when I get ready to do one it will be as good as the one you made.
Thanks man! When you give it a go, let me know how it went. :)
Looks simple, I am going to try and buy the kit. Hopefully it will turn out alright... Thank you
Thx!!! This vid was exactly what I was looking for!!!
So cool! I really wanna try this!
Thanks for making this awesome video!! I had no idea it could be so simple
Thank you for watching! Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.
Thanks Nate. This was a very interesting video
Good tip for the sheets. thanks.
Great - explained and demonstrated perfectly. Must try!
Thank you very much! :)
I sincerely hope you give it a go and join the community. Feel free to share you creations with me. Im on the Facebook.
this is far beyond simple, my friend
Thank you for the simple technique for screen printing..
Wow, great video. Thank you for sharing. You Rock.
Great job sir, I was thinking on doing the same.
Thanks for the information!
Loved the video
Great video tutorial.
Wow ,very nice brother 👍
Love your video. U made it look very easy.
Well done! Thanks for the tutorial. I just subscribed.
Really nice clear video. It's easy for what you get and once you have familiarity with software, phone, ordering packages, etc.
I don't see in general why vector graphic is necessary (or for that matter black print), but I have not done this before (just watched youtube vids). Vector graphics would help to avoid blocky/pixelly edges on pic if the resolution is a problem. Maybe it is (haven't done it so don't know). Black could be preferred to really block the UV light if for some reason light colors fail at this.
Well done.
Thanks for making a great tutorial video using EZscreen, I've tried it but had no luck with burning the image on the screen. Maybe my EZscreen is old so after watching your video I will try it again!
I hope you do! and they can do bad after several months and not be able to be exposed. They recommend putting them in the Fridge to extend their life if that helps. :)
Thanks for the help, I will place my next order in the fridge for sure!
Thank you very easy straight forward video
Brilliant !!!
This looks so much easier and less space consuming than actually frames! You can just put all the designs in a folder instead of needing huge screens! Also less fumes and mess (especially if you have nosy cats)!
Thank you this is very good. I will make custom t shirts.
Damn that's dope and easy
my dad's a graphic designer. he taught me how to screen print. it's pretty cool
Great video. Thanks!
💯🤝🙀smart easy love it 👍
Awesome!!!!!! thanks
thanks for sharing!!!!
Thank you for the tutorial. Never done screen printing so it's interesting way to make own shirts. I used to do my illustrations similar way as you did the first part. I draw a picture in pencil, than outlined in ink pen or Sharpie, erase the pencil than scan it into computer and saved it in black and white picture document. Cleaned it up. Than saved it in multicolor and filled in color. It came out pretty good.
Anyway....have you tried print on iron on paper and than use heated iron to transfer on shirt? I wonder how is it different than screen printing when it comes to quality?
very good!!!
wow man you seriously deserve more views and subs!
'Awe. Thanks! I dunno about that. I hope this video helped though. :)
Nice thanks for sharing
That's cool man
it didn't seem that simple, seems like a lot of stuff you'd have to buy first

and 4 bux on tulips SOFT ink.. i perfer it over speedball
plus i hand cut my stencils..
including a 4 dollar shirt..cheapest I've found
especially if youre just makin a few for you and possibly some friends

Excuse me could you tell me which type of paper you used in printing and she plastic sheet and the name of painting color and how I get it from London
ali elshekh i dont do it the way he does
but his way:
you need the clear plastic transfer
here give me a second and i can get you a link
kool , very informative
Very cool
I finally understand how screenprinting works. With the emulsion dissolved, the fine screen holds the image and all its fine details in place, then when you squeegee on the ink, it seeps through the screen but not the solid parts. Thanks for the tutorial.
Yessir! Great summary! I tried my best to explain how it works here:
czcams.com/video/OTHNZkLfDiE/video.html
Thanks this is great!
You are welcome! :)
Very cool, thanks!
Question: how does the ink hold up in the washing machine/ how soon after screen printing can you wash the shirt?
I wanted to start my graphic business and was looking how to use my own work thank you sir btw like and sub
You can also do it using Mod Podge and silk screen. Joanns didn't have silk screen I used cheap wedding veil fabric for my prints.
That was cool
Thanks dude
Awesome!! We have these tshirt shop videos making it all difficult by scan pics n send it to them when u can just take a fn pic yourself hahahaha
Very good video and explanation. Thank you so much-I am going to try this. If I don't buy a kit what mil transparency do I need?
great video
Outstanding when you do not have all stuff to produce a silkscreen with wood, glass, etc... GR8!
Thank you
I am so impressed!!! ...My friend had a Silk Screening Business and she would have flipped out to SEE how Simple you made this... I watched her work for hours to do what you just did... "WOW... this is soooo cool... How much did this cost you?
very nice
hey man a lot of these people are lazy and have no idea how hard "real" screen printing can be. this is extremely easy and I definitely want to try this. will buying the $50 dollar kit includes everything you used in this video? great video man don't listen to these people
IVANZ WORLD you so mad lmao
treshawn wilson woah woah woah! *$50 kit?!???!!!?!*
Aasiyah Muhammad 50 DOLARS?! That's outrageous 😤
50 isn't a lot for that..
Teesha c: sarcastically speaking
I'm glad to find out about Inkscape, so thanks for that. Ain't got time for screenprinting though, would be nice to learn but na
Only problem is, if anyone thought this was a good idea for a shop, you'd come across copyright infringement problems. It's best to create your own graphic to put on shirts.
Tanya P he can make changes to it to make it his own as long as it do look just like the image he can put it on a T-shirt to sell
Nice one sir, I could use this, I have several unique images, that would lend themselves well :)
Thanks bro
Thank you I have learned so much from this video. I have a mac and the soft was free?
Thank you! My daughter is going to love this set up for her birthday day, without the light source it was less than $200. Where can I get the light you used for developing? I appreciate your effort and by my estimation it was easy and very inexpensive.
Awesome
awesome
Is the transparency paper you use, the type teachers would use on projectors back in the day? I'm just curious.
Good video.
thanks its a good process to make tees with my kids drawings.
Thanks
nice one
this seems awesome! after placing the ink on the shirt and letting it dry with your design, is there anything you have to do afterwards to keep it permanent ? like throwing it in the dryer or ironing it?
where did you buy the exposure board? thanks
A what about the back part of the t-shirt? Do I have to secure it in some way?
THIS IS DOPE
Word.
I love this video, thanks for posting. It's odd that so many commenting here find this too difficult, but I suppose if it can't be accomplished by swiping a finger on a phone, it's just not possible and sooo tedious. Poor things.
Does the blue mesh behind the emulsion paper come with it? If not, is it necessary to buy? Also, what did you use for the black exposure board? Is it anything special or can you use any black surface (or whatever color the ink is going to be)? Last thing, how much is a pack of transparency papers? Great video, thanks!
thanks!
Youre Welcome!
that was AMAZINGLY SIMPLE
Please guide on halftone print
This IS AMAZING!! Thanks!!!! Considering the process with a framed screen and using photo emulsion, this really simplifies it....less time too...I hope to buy the kit soon, is the discount code still good???
could you tell me which kind of trasparent paper did you use so i could find it on my country? thanks
Cool
How strong is the light you used? How long would you have to let the shirt dry without a hair dryer?
Alsooo how long should you iron the shirt with parchment paper?
Thanks for the video. Does the ink not go through to the back layer of the t-shirt?
I like this method. Can this work for color inks also, and if yes where do I get them? Thanks.
awesome good job... you made it look so easy to do. i just spent $20,000 on a Anajet printer now im wondering if i made a mistake... in doing so..
Haha. Thanks man! Im sure the Anajet printer will provide you with awesome results, especially for images with many many colors. But you should definitely give EZscrenprint a go if you want to try something slightly more DIY.
HERE'S a much simpler way:Make a cheap black and white photocopy of the picture you want to transfer onto the new t shirt.(You can buy new plain t shirts at dollar stores in the spring/summer season for about three dollars,Canadian). Also buy a package of clear plastic acetate sheets from the same dollar store. Also buy some PERMANENT markers from the same dollar store and an exacto knife. When you get all this cheap stuff home put the cheap black and white photocopy on a clean table and put a clear acetate sheet on top of the phoptocopy.(Underneath all of this place a large square of cardboard). Then take a black permanent marker and trace the outline of the picture you want to put on the t shirt onto the clear plactic actetate sheet. Then cut that outline out with the exacto knife. Then take the t shirt you want to put the picture on and put a lage rectangle of cardboard inside the t shirt to protect the back of the t shirt from the permanent marker. Then place the cut out clear plastic acetate sheet (stencil) onto the fron of the t shirt and measure equal distances from both side seams to place the stencil properly in the center.(You can place the top of the stencil just under the collar seam of the t shirt). Then draw through the stencil with your permanent marker.Doing this will transfer the outline of your picture onto the t shirt. If you want to color this picture in you should paint it with HALF ACRYLIC PAINT MIXED WITH HALF WATER.IF YOU USE JUST UNDELUTED ACRYLIC PAINT IT WILL DRY TOO STIFF.IF YOU ARE PAINTING ON A BLACK OR ANY OTHER DARK COLORED T SHIRT THE OUTLINE OF THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO PUT ON THE T SHIRT HAS TO BE BLEACHED OUT FIRST.THE OUTLINE OF THE IMAGE AND ACTIUALLY THE ENTIRE IMAGE HAS TO BE BLEACHED OUT FIRST BEFORE YOU TRANSFER THE IMAGE EITHER BY USING A STENCIL OR BY CREATING A CARBON FROM THE CHEAP BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOCOPY.(PLEASE GOOGLE:HOW TO MAKE CARBON PAPER,YOU CAN USE PENCIL INSTEAD OF INK .INK WOULD LIKELY BLEED WHEN WASHED.ALSO YOU SHOULD GOOGLE:HOW TO MAKE A STENCIL.After you bleach out the area you want to transfer the design to on a dark t shirt you can transfer that design onto that bleached out area using a home made carbon or a home made stencil. Then you can paint in the outline with HALF ACRYLIC PAINT MIXED WITH HALF WATER.PLEASE DONT USE JUST PLAIN UNDELUTED ACRYLIC PAINT OR IT WILL DRY TOO STIFF.THERE ARE ONLY TWO TYPES OF PAINT YOU SHOULD USE ON T SHIRTS (AND OTHER FABRICS):REGULAR ACRYLIC PAINT DELUTED EQUAL PARTS WITH WATER OR ACRYLIC LATEX INTERIOR HOUSPAINT.ACRYLIC LATEX INTERIOR HOUSEPAINT DRYS STRETCHY BUT REGULAR ACYLIC CRAFT/ART PAINT DRYS TOO STIFF FOR T SHIRTS AND OTHER FABRICS IF UNDELUTED.
