Ok, no doubt just my 2 bit opinion here, for what it's worth, but I see good and bad here. Get the bad out of the way first. This particular song will likely get some hits, because it seems to be going for a modern day vibe of decades older songs. Stick with what's got an already familiar vibe and hope that they can go somewhere and get fans & followers from that. It could work, it's not a totally radical idea. It does seem to be missing an original hook, something catchy, something that'll stick in your head long after you hear it. It's not bland, it just doesn't rub me as memorable. That's the bad. The good is that these guys work well together and while basic still a decently put together video. Like it or not they at least know what they want to convey here. They also generally don't sound bad. Moreover, while they're style of music again seems to be copying bits of decades old music in a new age fashion, they're sound, they're voice isn't too much like that. They could really stand out if they did something in line with current well-known groups as opposed to sounding like a mesh between 70's & 80's southern rock music. So I can think it might be smart to see what else these guys put out.
