The Garrison is such a beautiful family with hearts of gold. They adopted those babies as though it’s their own. They gave love and took care of them so preciously.
These are darling little girls and are getting along fine. They went to the same school where I worked. They are energetic, happy and love to be alive. The family that adopted them are wonderful and they are in a good home.

I just found an update on these girls. It seems like Macy, Mackenzie and triplet Madeline are doing well. Bless the Garrisons for how they changed these girls lives.
Pt 2 My daughter's adoption was closed. 21 years later, we found her birth father. He had been wondering, all those years, if she was even alive, and here was this beautiful, happy, healthy young woman. She flew out to meet him and then he came here. The first thing he said was thank you. I said it was an honor. When we were the ages they were when she was born, we wouldn't have been equipped to handle it, either. That may be the case with these babies. At any rate they are obviously well loved!
I wonder how conjoined twins operate. Is it a left brain right brain thing where they directly communicate with eachother? Like does left control right and vise versa, like in 1 brain.
Oh my god they're so beautiful baby girls I wish they are finally separated and lead a happy life.....God bless the family that adopted this beautiful twins
Jenna is right. They each got one leg. They use crutches to get around. They both have an colostomy bag for the poop part. They are healthy, active and well loved. Look them up online. The story is very heart warming and inspiring.
elsa1942 In a way yes but in a way no. The Garrison triplets consisted of 3 viable babies with one completely normal and the other two MacKenzie and Macy being conjoined but with both having their own full set of organs while sharing the pelvis and legs. The fact that the only parts they shared were the pelvis and legs is what made them candidates for separation. One of the girls most likely would get to keep the pelvis and legs while the other would be left with no pelvis and legs result in being severely handicapped. I'm unsure of what happened when these girls were separated and if both have since lived. The Maged sisters would have been considered more of a twin birth than a triplet birth. The reason for this is because Noora obviously was born normal while Manar was born with another head with a face and the beginnings of an upper chest attached to her head as a result of craniopagus parasiticus. What that means is that a parasitic twin head with an undeveloped body is attached to the head of a developed twin. Manar's parasitic twin which her mom later named Islam despite it having female tissue, was able to blink, smile, look as if it was crying and I believe it was able to suck. It was extremely underdeveloped and lacked all organs besides an underdeveloped brain. They were unsure if it had it's own mental capacity but it was definitely not able to survive on it's own. It completely depended upon Manar's body to the point that it was putting Manar's life in danger having to pump blood to herself and to the parasitic twin. In order to save Manar's life the only option was to surgically remove the parasitic twin from her head which obviously the parasitic twin "died" instantly when the blood supply to it was stopped. Manar managed to live for a while after the surgery but she too eventually died. Considering the parasitic twin lacked everything needed to live on it's own and only survived by feeding off Manar's body, I would not consider this as a viable baby therefore I would say that the Maged sisters were twins with one having a parasitic twin on their head.
Didn't they see that in the Sonogram/ultrasound in the first month? But it human life you have taken on a tremendous task my god bless you all, i couldn't do it
I wish that the video would have told how the separation went. If anyone is familiar with this story, do you know whether they were successfully separated or not?
Seven years after conjoined twins Mackenzie and Macey Garrison underwent grueling surgery to be separated, the girls tell TODAY’s Natalie Morales that they enjoy gym class and horseback riding on their family’s farm in Iowa. they are fine and healthy
Glad to find out the surgery was successful. But does one twin not have legs? How did they handle this aspect? Update: I saw a link here: each girl has one leg and use crutches, ride horses and more. I believe they have complete and separate interior organ sets. They both have very distinct personalities. I'm sure with the advances with mechanical limbs, one day soon they will have operable limbs and you will hardly be able to tell the difference. I've even read where people are starting to be able to produce their own limbs with 3-D printing. Medical science is really remarkable.
Its where they are stretching the skin so they will have the extra to work with after they separate them so they can use their own skin and should have more than enough to be able to not have to take anymore from anywhere else on their bodies!! God bless those beautiful babies and the awesome loving family!! Even the little girl who wasnt conjoined they are all amazing and just having babies is the most precious miracle that we could ever be given!!!

aren't the Maged sisters (Noora, Manar, and Islam) the other case of conjoined twins born with a triplet?
Galinha pitadinha
