I finally was able to get my hand on one of these for a good deal so I replaced my current Active autowerke single midpipe for their equal length version! This resonated equal length midpipe is now paired with vrsf downpipes and the stock rear muffler!

I’ve had the same set up and it’s THE best one. Sounds like a race car 🏎 💨🤙🏽
Can’t go wrong just the price that made me barely pull the trigger!
7:44 them flames tho 🔥. Sounds good 👍
Thank you! 🤝
bro that actually sounds mad. definitely made the right choice with equal length
Thanks brotha! Definitely a controversial setup!
Vids getting better 🤝
thanks to y’all ❤️
Damn he said “I’m excited for this” so I’m obviously excited for this
I didn’t seem so excited huh
Got piped!!! Sick!!
Squiggly pipe!
I have equal length with stock down pipes, coupled with v2 m performance exhaust, it sounds decent!
sooo good
Appreciate you bro!
What’s up? Right in my backyard, Otay lakes road curves!! 👍
fun little road for cruising and testing!
Nice upload! I’m debating these same exact set ups and after watching I’m still not sure 😅 EL high end sounds great but the 2k rasp sounds like it’s still there with the EL. Btw I have stock DP and most likely adding catless DP down the road
yeah tbh the low end rasp is what makes me not like the EL i miss the deeper tone of the single midpipe but at high rpm the equal length definitely sounds best!
@@ethanpresto agreed thanks for the feedback. Pretty much comes down to which one you can’t live without!
Bro what was your set up with the single midpipe before you switched?
How bad is the 2k rasp on this setup?
i prefer the old sound but to each their own still an amazing build
I do too it was just too loud for me! Thank you!
The equal length tone is a million times better. Single midpipe doesn't even sound like an inline 6😖
does it drone at cruising speed when valves are closed. I have seen someone says it drones even when valves closed and some says it doesn't
Nope not at all! Feel like it also depends on your setup but valves closed is pretty much dead silent
How much louder does this setup sound compare to full stock car roughly? 20%? 50%?
valves closed barely a difference but valves open i’d say at least 50%. the catless downpipes are what makes it pretty loud
Hey bro!
Thanks for the video!
I would like to ask you about which one is louder.
I know probably the single midpipe is more louder than EL right? But it's a big difference?
Because I'm thinking about buying the EL with Vrsf Catless downpipes but I really want noise when i open the valves.
Firstly I thought to buy EL non resonated but I saw that is not good and sounds bad.
I will use catless downpipes but I really don't know if I will buy single or EL since I really want a good and loud noise.
Thanks
they’re both very unique in their own way but i’d definitely say the single midpipe is louder! at times i do miss the single it sounds so much better low end torque but at high rpm’s full throttle i love the sound of the EL! 100% make sure you do go with the resonated though when going catless!
@@ethanpresto ok bro thanks for you answer, but about the el midpipe non resonated is that shit so bad? 😂
It supposed to be louder but maybe have too much rasp, that's it?
Do you favor the el over tgr single? I know people are switching back. I'm switching back to el but by valvetronics.
The new valvetronic with h pipe sounds crazy. Best of both worlds
@@Ryan-rp1es I've been through many exhausts, but hopefully it'll be good.
How loud are the single midpipes compared to stock? I'm also an owner of an F82.
pretty big difference when valves are open!
@@ethanpresto Thank you!
What’s the difference between the resonated and non-resonated version ?
Resonated has resonators at the rear connecting pipes that quiet / tone down the exhaust! Which is recommended to be paired with catless downpipes.
@@ethanpresto ahh I see so if you have stock down pipes it’s better to get the non resonated mid pipes ?
@@verde629 Yes! Recommended by active autowerkes themselves!
Honestly the single sounded better in my opinion
Ethan has a sexy car
🤝
What’s your burble settings?
in the beginning of the video i believe they were on soft setting and at the end i put my flame tune on.
@@ethanpresto what tuning software do you use / how do you switch tuning profiles on the fly? Thanks!
Did you do crank hub yet
No I don’t plan on it! My car also isn’t quick either just ots stage 2+ on 91. If I were to go any further then 100% I would do it!
Why would he waste his money on a crank hub lmfao.
Why y’all mf be obsessed with the crank hub😂🤣
@@whatm4339 cuz he’s tuned ?
@@yungsteez541 and? I have ran Stage 2+, and FBO for 3+ years now no issues. Not sure why you are telling him to waste his money.
Sounds crazy! Are you catless?
thank you! and yes vrsf downpipes!
This equal length tone is SOO much better than the single midpipe.
If you think this think is too loud then you shouldn't combine it with a catless downpipe!🤷🏻♂️ That's what makes it sound too loud and raspy.
I think it’s too quiet but not a fan of the rasp / rattle! it sounds best with stock downpipes but thats no fun.
Non resonated EL midpipe + stock downpipe and Resonated EL midpipe + catless downpipe are BOTH wrong set ups.
Resonated EL + stock downpipe + custom rear muffler sounds sooo much better. So does Resonated EL + catted sport downpipe.
