Honestly I’m glad you had the courage to speak up and tell your story about this relationship. It’s good to teach younger girls what a relationship shouldn’t be like. I feel like it’s not talked about enough with teens.

Once they break up with you, or vice versa… never ever contact them back. And never ever take them back once they call again after a breakup. It will never end well! You deserve someone who loves you, respects you, gives you your space. If there is no real communication, even if it’s over argument, there should be a *communication* no matter what. If he keeps threatening you with a breakup, that’s a red flag. Think about it, it was all about him controlling you. You are brave and beautiful and mature and strong. I dated my ex from when I was 15-17 for a year and a half and I can say years later now breaking up was the best thing for me. I needed to learn how to love myself and be alone. I was too young and too focused on getting my self love from someone else. I can 100% relate to ignoring the “red flags” because I was in love. Even though going through the breakup was so incredibly hard, I really grew as a person and I am grateful for the lessons I learned. You will get to a point where it doesn’t hurt anymore, you got this!

Others often describe people with NPD as cocky, manipulative, selfish, patronizing, and demanding. telling you that you cant talk to your friends is awful :( Narcissists typically most isolate friends members because they pose the biggest threat of revealing things they want kept out of public view.

Hey Keilly hearing you talk about ur break up reminded me of mine 4 years ago (I was sophomore)!I felt the same way literally SAME situation except I was with him for 1y I would take him back even after I found out what he was doing but I stayed and kept going back bc I was so USED to him and I thought I was going to marry him that my world would end without him but GIRL I was so wrong it’s literally a joke now when I look back at it. Now I’m in almost 3y relationship with my new bf literally the best bf I could have asked for so it made it all worth it YOU WILL FIND BETTER but it’s a part of life and it’s good that it happens now so we know how to deal with it when we are older. I appreciate you sharing your story tho using ur platform to let other girls know that they can get thru it and their not alone block them cry it off and move on. It’s been hard because I cared about him so much but he didn’t really feel stuff for me the way he did. Girllll I know how you feel. My ex broke up with me like a month ago he cheated on me, then left me for the girl he cheated on me with then tell me everything was my fault. That’s why he was leaving me. I feel like my world is crashing down because he was my first boyfriend and I love him so much and I’m still healing and everything but it does take time.

My ex of 7 years also broke up with me , and let me tell you I cried for a week but little by little things get better . I fell into depression, because 7 years is crazy a lot but he decided to leave AGAIN and we worked together until I made the choice to leave for my own good and now people tell me he’s talking to someone at work so tbh it was for the best .
