you can learn something online. ganun ginawa ko. but marami ako napick na mali, and natutunan ko yung tama through teacher. i learned that inshould have valued my time and paid for a teacher so much much better result, kesa nagtipid ako sa fee, nag self teach and then nasayang yung panahon na sana mas mabilis ang learning

How do you balance being a nurse and violinist po? Thank you!
I work 3-5 shifts a week for 3 weeks and a week where I do much less. We book travels in advance so we have something to look forward to and not get exhausted because of working. When I drive to/from work or on quiet night shifts, I listen to music and look for some inspiration of what I want to cover and if I find a sparkle, I put it on loop. Once I sort of memorised the music I pick up my violin and try to play it. On a good (violin) day, I’d be able to arrange my version of cover. Go back to work, look forward to coming home again to play my arrangement until I’m happy to hit record in my small studio.
Working too many shifts can be stressful. Playing the violin keeps me sane in between shifts. However I also find playing the violin can be stressful when I get paid for it during gigs. Perhaps it’s the money involved that puts pressure on it, or the playlist that I don’t connect with.
To keep it short, if I get stressed working as a nurse, playing the violin, shooting, learning more about editing and mixing are few of my outlet. If I get stressed playing the violin, I take time to rest. We travel, go to the beach, walk or play badminton to keep a good balance, and just do nothing on days off if we have to reset.
