- Format for next video, just wanted to give you guys some progress. Since this is in 8K (with a few pixels shaved off because the codec didn't go that far) your computer might not be able to handle it.
For world maps, you're generally are going to pay attention to one part of the video whilst basically ignoring everything else. As a result, using this format you are able to change your point of view on the map and zoom in for more detail (I believe this is for desktop only). This also is a better, but not perfect, representation that the Earth is indeed, round.

Skype gets pretty laggy for me and Discord is slowly becoming the norm for online communication. My tag is Algol#0523 if you decide to get it.

This works almost 10x better on the phone btw, even tho you can't zoom in you can move your phone to see different areas, and it's compatible with Google cardboard
Also, literally just discovered your channel and right off the bat it's one of the best map animation channels, if not the best, that I've ever seen

What the hell this blew my mind! I’ve never put a map to scale like that. I mean, Russia is big, but it’s like 6 frances big, not the quarter of a map in a normal atlas. And like the distance between for instance México to South Africa is so much more longer than from México to Europe. Of course that sort of confusion would happen when putting a sphere on a plane. Math go brrrrr
