I agree. Maria is brilliant but I just don’t have the time to clean them all individually however much I love my plants. I just sprayed them with soapy water and the next day most had turned from green to black. I sprayed the survivors and they too are no more. The corpses aren’t pretty but I expect a spray with clean water will wash them off.
My friend Frank this happened to all plants all you need to do spray them with neem oil or fertilizer-Lomé tree & shrub systemic insect drench available at Amazon make sure you get the right product thank you Maria’s garden
Get some ant bait gel and put a nickle sized drop on a small piece of plastic or something and set it on the soil or near the pot. Ants will be gone in a day or 2. I use Bayer ant bait gel.

Check for aphids. They will attract ants because the leave a sweet sticky substance that ants like. They have a symbiotic relationship in this way.
