***** Not disputing his skill as a play by play man during the 90s, because he was indeed very good. My issue with him is that basically he was a douchebag. Schiavone played dirty, and seemed to enjoy doing so. Yes it was Bischoff who had the idea of giving away Raw results, but Schiavone took it a step further, insulting and making fun of guys who didn't deserve it. He was very disrespectful in not allowing Bobby Heenan time to say a few words to acknowledge the passing of Gorilla Monsoon, a legend in the business, simply because Monsoon was associated with the competition. Classless moves. He was also the man behind putting the world title on David Arquette; It was his idea. His antics didn't go unnoticed either. It was no surprise that after WCW was bought, Schiavone was out of a job, and off to the middle of nowhere calling little league games. It's just my opinion. On an unrelated note, I worked as a personal trainer for several years while in university, and I really like your "Get a Grip" name. Clever
The best all-around announcer of all times is Joey Styles he can run the whole show by himself and don't have to have some jackass sitting by him. Now that's the honest to god facts.
As a former Nitro watcher (along with Raw.. yes I watched both).. I kind of miss Tony Schiavone. Would be epic to see him on one of Raws Old School shows if it did a Nitro special.
When I saw this on Spike TV, I was stunned. I never imagined that there would be this much animosity between Tony Schiavone and Mike Tenay. I now realize that this was a work, as TNA was trying to sign him on to the promotion. Tony Schiavone simply did not have the desire to do work in professional wrestling at that time. It would have been rough for him to do so, as he was an employee for 750 WSB Atlanta, Georgia, and the TNA TV tapings at that time took place in Nashville, Tennessee (they would later move their TV tapings to Orlando, Florida). It was simply too far for him to travel there on a weekly basis. The only reason that Tony Schiavone is working in the pro wrestling industry today, is because his contract was not renewed at 750 WSB.
I seriously never imagined Tony Schiavone could cut a promo, let alone a HEEL promo on this level. Great stuff!

He started out with MidSouth (as did a myriad of JCP Greats) before he ever announced for The Crocketts. And never forget that Tony Schiavone and David Crockett only were called upon to replace this guy named Gordon Solie is all!😏😂🎤🌊☀️🍊🌴🤼♂️B.W.
Don't get me wrong, I find this whole segment very interesting, but I just love how the audience doesn't give a shit. =D
That's because it's fuckin Tony Schiavone; Fat fuck ignorant piece of useless shit. Who cares about what he has to say? If he had a heart attack and shit his pants while having a seizure in the middle of the ring, then it would've been entertaining and the crowd might've cheered
*****
Not disputing his skill as a play by play man during the 90s, because he was indeed very good.
Clever
***** Schiavone rocked plain and simple!
Is it me, or are the fans chanting "shut the f*** up"?
Tony Schiavone. One of the greatest wcw and wwf commentator of all time. And, he should go to wwe hall of fame someday.👍
That's true.
Tony Schiavone is All Elite.
I really wish Tony would get back into Wrestling I loved his commentary as much as Jim Ross's back in the day
That "Who cares?" sign. Damn if that doesnt say it all.
Tony looks like he was at coke party!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao
One of the truest voices in wrestling!! Tony has the pipes for it...Tenay doesn't!!
"The man who wears the 10 pounds of gold....." Classic Schiavone.
Tony schiavone is the voice of wcw on the legend of wcw
This wasn't even on Spike. This was still on PPV but they were cheap PPV shows. A plus on their end to shill out their content.
@@aboundingvampirekiller2048 This segment was aired on Spike TV after the pay-per-view event, in a censored form.
