    This is why you must never, never ever lose sight of your card when paying anywhere. Go to the cashier point and collect your card when payment is verified.

    There were so many red flags that the florist seemed blind to - you could of covered her establishment in red bunting! Good grief, even her own bank was telling her that something was very off. This lady is certainly paying the price now. If it seems too good to be true - IT IS!!!!

    My ex-husband served 13 years for possession of stolen property- He bought a stolen truck. That's it, truly- why would I lie? (He had a prior felony conviction but no drugs and no violence, just a stupid young kid.)
    This fool gets 9 years for stealing millions and ruining people's lives? And let's not forget- He got to serve his time at Club Fed... It's not like he did real prison time. Disgusting.

    Aren't the banks insured for this kind of thing, at least up to a specific amount? Why will she not covered that way? Maybe I missed it and if so, I apologize.

    Chick at Bone Daddys BBQ in Dallas she did me like this. She paid her car insurance and I caught the transaction. Closed that card she tried to pay for college expenses. Then used the card at another restaurant. After that I don't use credit cards in Restaurants ever!

    I don't understand the part where the customer (scammer) paid with a credit card and then the business transfered the money back to them. What the hell was that all about? I'm confused.....

    I must be getting slow on the uptake in my old age, but I cannot understand the scam involving the Rosanna the florist . Why was she sending money to her customer - I always understood that the money flowed in the opposite direction.

    • @igotbandaids
      @igotbandaids Před 4 lety +1

      Very confusing. I looked up an article to help explain to me. www.itbusiness.ca/news/ontario-florists-nightmare-shows-small-firms-not-safe-from-credit-card-fraud/12953 The fraudster got money out of Yeomans by claiming a shipping company had to be paid through Western Union before the orders could be completed. He had several different credit cards that he said were limited to $1,500 each, complete with expiry dates and the three-digit security code on the back. The “reverend” ended each phone call and e-mail with a heartfelt “God bless you.”
      After the money was cleared and in her bank account, Yeomans did use Western Union to wire $16,000 to a company called ATS Shippers.

      I am sad to see what happened to the flowerist. I was scammed. I was offered an online job and told to search for solar products from China and send them the best deal. I was also to find the best deal on shipping. Once I did that the company that hired me would tell me that a customer has bought the product and sent the money to my account and I should transfer the money after taking a commission. I was then to send the money using western union or money gram. The first client sent deposit $1500 and I did as I was told. The send client send $40000 and my commission was going to be 10000. Oh my God I freaked out and called my bank. The bank said it was a scam and the $1500 I withdrew I had to pay it back because the own had made a claim. I paid back the money and closed my account. This company made it self look legit as I applied for the job and they requested for all my documents. Thank God I learned my lesson. Be careful people are out there that can't be trust. These scammers were from Europe lol.
