  • That was a fun project :) Although I did forget a lot of stuff, it all turned okay in the end. 1860s is still one of my favorite fashion eras, and I'm always excited to try something new.

      Thank you! I drafted them myself, and I was thinking about turning them to a PDF pattern, since people already asked me about it. I'll probably post about it on my Instagram around Novermber-December 😊

    The double needle trick was ingenious and absolutely not lazy. I watch a few other channels similar to yours and don't always understand the appeal of doing things the way they were done, we humans have always been progressive and inventive and had the technology been there no one would have ever sewn by hand.

    I love this dress/ensemble so much!! I can imagine the swiss waist in red and the skirt in white with some ruffled trimmings on the bottom and it could be an 1860s version of Mary Poppins' "Jolly Holiday" dress.

    Your Waist Is SO TINY! Also, it's so interesting to see you move so effortlessly. You're obviously not Encumbered nor in any pain. It's just you're naturally slim body in a well made corset. Great for debunking all the corset myths. Great video!

    • @Ninonella
      @Ninonella  Před 3 lety +2

      Oh thank you! I'm someone who doesn't tolerate pain very well, so if I would be uncomfortable in this ensemble, I probably wouldn't wear it. And it's really easy to move in a hoop skirt - I even have a clip when I run/hop wearing this 😂 But this clip is saved for my debunking corset myths video, I have a lot to say about that 😁
