This Press was given to me so that I could test it out and then offer my viewers a product review. I was not told what to say and I am always free to talk about what I wish. You are always such a joy to watch. I learn so much! Thank you.
Thank you for your review. I just placed an order for a black one. Can’t wait to get my bath bomb press!
Omg I just ordered my Electra press today after watching this yesterday. Thank you so much. It’s going to work for me because it not as loud. Thank you thank you.
I just got my electra press and LOVE IT! Its light weight, yes but the construction is spot on!
Oooo i just made my first Bath Bomb ever...EggNog fragrance from Brambleberry..its buttery rich deelicious! This machine would be a welcome to my new found addiction...Thanks for this great Demo!
Thanks for the info & for sharing.
This looks like a nice machine.
Also, I have stand mixer envy. 😉
I’m always worried about switching to a press rather than hand pressing, bc I have found out the pressure used can make for a floating bathbomb of a sinking bathbomb.. I would love to see one of the bombs from this press in action and see if they are floaters!!!! Love and Light!!!
Your new studio looks like it is serving you well!
I ran across this machine a few weeks ago it looks really easy to use thanks for the review It maybe something I purchase soon, like that it just plugs in.
Mary Kat it is very easy to use and so quiet! For someone who doesn’t like the noise of an air compressor it is a great choice
a superb colour my favorite to great vid as usual like the new bath bombs especially the christmas drizzel one. Have a blessed day Nicole UK
That is the press machine I want...Yes!
i like that you are using all the right protective gear and show it on your video
Vincent Bouchard thank you!
I just bought one and it's coming tomorrow!!!!!!
I love it.
Muy bueno excelente!!!
Love the idea. Which do you think is quicker? The machine or by hand?
So pretty.. need to look into changing careers. You're definitely an inspiration! I'm so happy you have your new Studio! Can't wait for more soap videos! 💖 from Edmonton 🇨🇦
Meaning I need to look into a career change!
I'm new to your channel and absolutely LOVE your videos! But watching you work with those low counter tops is killing MY back hahahaha. I hope you got your taller ones! Im just starting my bath bomb journey, all by hand Im afraid. Your press videos give me something to think about though! Thank you!
I love your videos! Thank you for making them! ☺️ could you please tell me where you got the little spray bottle for the glitter? I looked at Nurture Soap’s site and didn’t see the bottle. Thanks in advance!
You can get the plastic bath bomb shells from Wish also, 6 to 10 wk delivery time of course!
my favorite color 💙
Pat Wagner we would have to do a test! Haha! To crafters, side by side! Lol
Is this your new store and workshop?? It's gorgeous! So happy for you!! I need some more soap. I'll order soon.
Thank you for such a thorough and professional review, Ariane
It must be convenient to not use an air compressor, but that electric motor must be redesigned to stop when it needs to stop. That's a pretty significant design flaw that you have to watch and stop it manually before it breaks. I hope they fix that in the next version because again, it must be convenient to not need a compressor.
Janis Cortese I would be great if it did stop on it’s own, but you get the hang of it after making bombs for a little while
Hi Janis, thanks for the recommendation for improvement on the next Model. We are looking at options on how to move away from the tubing as it takes a few times to get the hang of it. Most of our customers become proficient with learning to stop and it becomes second nature.
Adding a rubber grommet/o-ring above the tubing would create a bumper of sorts and would allow for more oops room without breaking the tubing.
Also, as an electrician, I'd fix the issue by adding the above bumper and a variable timer circuit. Automatically shutoff after X amount of seconds, controlled by a dial. Just a thought.
Awesome video!!
Can you use cada molds with this machine? Maybe if you use the top of the puck mold with the cada molds?
What is the best air compressor or electrician I trust you
Are there any disadvantages to the electric compressor
Thanks for taking the time to make such thorough reviews. Now that you've tried all three presses, which do you prefer?
Redrum the goal of my review wasn’t to pick a winner, but to show you 3 systems that work great and try help you figure out the best for your needs 😊
Can I ask from where did you get the glitter pump?
Where did you get the half-round holders that you put your bath bombs on to dry?
Where do you get the glitter spray bottles?
What size are the sphere molds that you are using?
I LOVE watching yoir channel!! 😘How long did it take to make 30 bathbombs with this machine? Also which mold were you using for your 200g bath bombs?
Saskatoon, SK 🇨🇦
Looks like you won't be dreading making bath bombs anymore! That's a great tool!
Which machine works faster, this machine or the air compressor machine. The one thing that concerns me with this machine is the learning curve as when to stop the machine to prevent the snapping of the tubing. Maybe the company can add additional tubing in the packaging instead of the candy. As a newbie making bath bombs I may get frustrated with this machine because of that. I know at the beginning if I decided to purchase this machine I would snap a couple of tubes, lol
Looking to get one for Christmas do you still use this press?
How many can you make in an hour?
Wondering how much flexibility people have had with using different recipes? Mine has a small amount of Shea, cocoa butter and apricot oil in it. Anyone have any feedback?
Hi Ariane, do you ever find that your bath bombs get stuck in these molds? I've had terrible trouble with mine getting stuck and then they crumble when I try to take them out. Any hints or tips as to what it might be?
Ariane- does your buttercream snickerdoodle FO change the color due to the vanillin? I'm wanting to make a Birthday Cake Bomb but I don't want my mix to turn to the brown colors.
Heritage Soap Co. it does discolour a little but the smell is totally worth it!
The electric looks to be smoother than the other air compressor models. You gave nice reviews, which is your favorites Ariane?
Kathy Graf the smooth press action makes much less bath bomb dust fly everywhere when pressing!
Good info, Im still struggling with the bombs😔
Hello
Please, I am from Iraq, where can I buy a press like the one you work with? Thank you
How well do the bath bombs dry? Are they rock hard like when using an air compressor?
sthep02 they do dry rock hard. The hardness also has to do with the formula being used 😊
Oh wow I like it! You’re too cute! Thanks for sharing ❤
I’ve heard in other reviews that the black mold is no longer being shipped - you should receive a white mold that’s outsourced and makes a more uniform Saturn ring than the black mold, so less clean up.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
Hi Suzy, you are correct we are moving away from the Black hand made Resin molds.. we just simply can not keep up with the demand. The new molds are HDPE and we are working with a local machine shop for our standard shapes so that we have more time to make new designs and products.
Muddy Soap Co. I’m saving my pennies! I really like the idea of an electric press.
Yes, you are correct, as I mentioned at the end of the video, the new molds are now HDPE :-) I got my press just before the HDPE molds and that is totally ok as they work fine for me! I plan on trying the Little O once it is available in HDPE
تحياتي وشكرا
Which one do you like the most out of the three? Do you make natural liquid face soap? U need to have that table raised lol
mapy1979 I have another table, I just need to move my setup around
I was trying to hear the two websites you gave. One was brambleberry and the other I couldn't really hear. Was it kendorah?
Keshia Ward it was Candora Soap in Ontario
The electric looks convenient but looks like its slowed down production by half if not MORE compared to the air compressor type. And it needs to be designed to stop on it's own. And it's rather odd you need to use their recipe w/tweaks. A product should fit into YOUR process, not vice versa.
Do you know what the duty cycle is? How many can u make before u have to let it cool down or rest
Great Question! the Duty Cycle of the Electric actuator is not a factor in this design and it is not required to let it cool down or rest at all. The small amount of time that the press is under full load, just the last 1/4" or so of the stroke is the only time the press is under any load. based on this you can not reach the duty cycle of the electronics and you can make Bath Bombs all day long or until you run out of mix.. If you have any more questions please feel free to email us at JP@muddysoapco.com
Thanks for pitching in as I didn't know the answer to this very great question!
I think from all your soap press this looks the cutest but it also look a little bit flimsy.
Kristina Burgos the built of the frame is very strong. It doesn’t warp at all while in use
Hi Kristina, thanks for the comment, glad you like the style and esthetics. Don't let the cuteness deceive you, we worked really hard during the design to keep the total weight of the press as light as possible at just over 6 lb. and still be strong enough to handle the over 300 lb. of force being applied to the Bath Mix. The Frame is all aluminum Tig welded construction. The Powder-coated colors are not only pretty but keep the aluminum from oxidizing and getting that white chalky look and black residue on your hands and Bath Bombs..
I wasn’t paid. I was simply given the press and free to give my honest opinion. I only accept to review products I like
It's so silent compared to the other bath bomb machines that you have displayed sofar!
Great Price compared to the others.
Where did you get the bigger mixer? How many quarts is the bigger mixer? Do you have the link for the bigger mixer?
Erica Anderson its 20 quarts and I bought it from a restaurant supply store in Laval. Don’t think they sell online...
Ariane Arsenault ok thanks for the info!
Why do you set your batch on the scale? Thanks!
So that each bath bomb is the same weight. This way I can label correctly.
@@ArianeArsenault I find your voice soothing, lol Thank you is much!
This press seems to take longer than the other presses you’ve shown. How many bombs an hour can you make with the electric press?
Kristina Benson it might be a little bit slower but not that much. Plus the timing always depends on the person operating the press, as you go you do get faster and if you have someone else working with you and a second bottom mold part you can really speed up time 😊
On your party bombs w sprinkles, you used a vanilla type fo I’m assuming it has vanilla content. Did it turn your white bombs brown at all? Also, w the plastic container holders? Do you wrap yours in that half container or just dry them in that?
Mermaidia just dry to hold shape
thanks for replying. :)
I would love a press, but i just can not afford it.
Ariane, thanks for the review. I'm sorry people feel the need to be so rude to you.
TreeStevens don’t worry! I’ve been dealing with audio problems in my new workshops due to the high sealing. 💖
Your table is too low. Elevate your press and scale and your back will thank you.
Machinery Repairman I do work on my higher work station often.
I put one in my cart but don't see where I pick my color?
custom colors are by request please message us at JP@Muddysoapco.com for details
I was going to say email Jamie but she was faster!
Thank you so much!
lol just one random candy xD
Je me demandais, par simple curiosité, pourquoi tu ne faisais pas de vidéo en français? P.S. Bonne continuité!
I thought it was really slow, to test out my theory. I paused the video and made a batch of bath bomb mixture then made some while you were making them pretty much I made 2 to your 1. For $550.00 I want something that I don't have to stop so I don't have to be replacing parts that moves a tad bit faster maybe?
Angela10226 did you ever decide with presser you are going with?
the volume is so low on your mic that we can't hear what you are saying,
Francheska Matos my new workshop has very high sealing and the sound is odd and echoey! I ordered some lavallier mics to hopefully fix this problem
I have degenerative hearing loss and I hear her just fine. Maybe check your media volume settings which are different than the phones/computer volume settings.
😍😍 you so beautiful 😍😍
It moves way too slow.
