It was a one take, not a one try. Apparently she could have done it after the first take but perfectionist taeyeon wasn’t satisfied so she decided to do a second one-take and that’s the one we are listening to now:)

I admire Taeyeon and Tiffany's friendship. Even if they're a total opposite of each other, they just click, y'know? Taeyeon is the quiet and introvert one while Tiffany is the loud and extrovert friend. Taeyeon once said that a life without Tiffany would be like life without happiness and I think it meant a lot to her since we've seen the drastic change of Taeyeon over the years. Actually, hate to break it to you, but she cried because she sang it so poorly and thought she ruined it for all of her fans who came out to see her. She said in her ten years as a singer, she'd never been more angry at herself. The poor girl clearly needed a break and let her voice condition get better, but she offered to sing it one more time and powered through.
It's 2020, but I just realized that this song deserves to be an OST and win awards just like how 'A Poem Titled You' did.
