    Mondo is going to keep breaking the WR by 1cm for the next 2-3 years and keep cashing those cheques

    Duplantis casually setting a new world record is becoming a normal thing.

  • @khayman9574
    @khayman9574 Před 18 dny +80

    Man, Duplantis is beginning to defy physics. If he keeps it up, he'll soon be limited by the length of his own limbs. Also, hats off to Ingebrigsten for destroying the previous WR. What a meeting

    • @khayman9574
      @khayman9574 Před 18 dny +3

      BTW, Duplantis is 24 yo and has already broken the pole vault's WR 10 times.... 10 TIMES!!! Go on Armand, we want 6.30

    • @JetFuelSE
      @JetFuelSE Před 18 dny

      There's actually no length limit on the pole you use, he can just switch to a longer pole if he needs to.

    • @michelle778
      @michelle778 Před 18 dny

      It is nice of him to increase by 1cm so every meet can have the feeling and excitement of a broken world record. But he might just put 6.50 on and get it over with.

      I hope Mondo is not fooling you. He is capable of jumping 6.40 today. He has a cash bonus for WR'S written into his contract. He will continue to break the WR by 1cm at every major competition for the next 4 years atleast.

  • @Alex.Gurov79
    @Alex.Gurov79 Před 18 dny +2

    I have always wondered what is possible on the pole vault, are there rules on the length of the pole? Do they all use the same pole length and weight in international competitions? Duplantis might see 6.3m but I am not sure if higher is possible? It's a very interesting and technical sport, Duplantis is certainly the best ever since Sergey Bubka, and will no doubt go down as the best ever as it's rare to see such talent on the pole vault.

      Wanda care little about the properties they buy. They just strip the assets and then slowly let it bleed dry. That's their business model.
      On top of that they have some big liquidity problems recently.

      @@ahmedcrickettv9679 Key reason for Arshad Nadeem absence from Lausanne DLM was that he decided to return to Pakistan following his heroics in the Paris Olympics 2024, unlike Neeraj Chopra who chose to stay back in Europe after winning the silver medal in Paris. Nadeem was showered with cash prizes worth around 280 million, cars and other gifts. Nadeem had finished in fourth place in the Paris Diamond League on July 7 with a throw of 84.21m. That was his only Diamond League meeting so far and the lone event apart from the Olympics this season. He doesnt compete much. Not sure if he lacks finacial support before his Paros triumph. There is one DLM left for the javelin event before the finals. Hope he can be there.
