    Wait. You said except married filing separately, but the bullet point says except filing jointly. Which one?

      Pretty sure he meant to have "married filing separately" on the bullet point. If you are married filing jointly then you are not excluded from qualifying for it. What he said in the video is correct. The bullet point is not. See 6:40 when he explains what to do if filing separately.

    And I was still legally married, but filed head of household, because my ex owes backhoe, child support and alimony

    I call BS on this because people that don’t get alimony or child support and I was 180$ short of the $2500 income limit for the year can’t get any tax credit for my dependent child single moms who are struggling the most are not back out in the work field yet need this money more than anyone else 😂 I called my congressman on this, and he agreed that this is one of the ways the government is cutting back from all their spending to illegal aliens, instead of helping the middle, aged dependence of their own country
