Exactly. My first best friend was a black kid and we still are great friends to this day. Hell, most of my friends from then and now are not white and are great friends. So to people who say that I don’t agree with people because they look different than me are just being flat out idiots and untruthful and they know it. Yep - and that has nothing to dow with CRT. Teaching his daughter to be reslient and motivated will help her when she encounters bias and frustrations and obstacles a white person would not have (all other things being equal).
They do tests with job applications. the NAME is the only difference (Ango Saxon versus typical black name) Guess who gets fewer invitations.
That _can_ be overcome with more talent, or more work, or it takes longer to get your foot in the door and work your way up. In times of higher unemployment rates it becomes more of an obstacle. Or the dream jobs - harder to get those, they may have to contend themselves to less attractive jobs and then trying to move on.

It is simply untrue that no matter how hard you work that you can achieve without acknowledging that state and social barriers can sometimes hinder the projection of someone's life. Just imagine telling a severely disabled person that if they just work "really hard" that the playing field will be equal for them, it's simply not true. This isn't to say you can't achieve but there are many hidden barriers and prejudices to battle, it's not as simple as this father has made it seem. This is a fallacy.
This is very true. Inhave *5 BOYS* and my kids came in upset and my 6 year old asked why the boy nextdoor called him a "White N***er"? They said the Dad needed to talk to me and said "I don't know what I did" when he did nothing. The other kid said horrible things. My kids didn't understand why someone would make fun of skin color and didn't understand anything really about it. The boy was black who called my kid this. My kids are white but most of our family is half white/half black. My son said "Mom so people will make fun of people for you being blonde or my brown hair? But everyone is so different? That would take up time".... kids aren't born looking at skin color. It is taught.

I was a very poor child from a large Family. I never had time with my mum, a local black teenager and her friend used to take me to the park and looked after me, they lived on my street. I had great times with them, lovely girls and I remember thinking that people thought the older girl was my mum and I felt really happy, at the time it did not cross my mind that she was different colour than me.

My father grew up very very poor as a Hispanic male in the inner city, he knew he didn’t want to be poor anymore, he made sure he graduated HS paid his on way to community college then became a FIrefighter and retired a district chief. But this video touched me for the simplicity of the message, and by seeing a little girl representing all I care about teaching to younger generations. I am sure you know what I mean, because it does not take much to read a good heart, and I can read it in you. The world has them. The courts and dead beat mothers do everything to keep us out of our kids lives. I have been through it twice myself. Two different moms. I was a great father till we broke up. Then all of a sudden I was abusive and a dead beat. All they wanted was custody and child support to control me. They knew my kids, the most important creation of my life was the only thing they could use to control me. I have full 100% custody of my 11yr. I am fighting for my 7 soon to be 8. Funny. The court says I am qualified to be a father to one kid but not the other. Funny how that logic works. It is corruption to the highest standard.

My heart swelled up as I watched this. I'm a 46 year old white man that has always loved other humans.... HUMANS.... a they are meant to be loved. Skin color has NEVER mattered. I've tried to pass this lesson of love to everyone I come across but have fallen short in the past 2 years now.....

it's good to see people teaching their kids right, these are the type of people who's kids grow up to be very successful. some people think of themselves as victims and they stay victims and never go anywhere in life, others like this do great things and become whatever they want. the fact that people are taught that ALL white people are racist is just stupid to me. people of all colors generally accept those who are respectful towards them whatever they look like, yes there are a few exceptions and some people truly are racist, but i think that's dying out as more and more people who were raised by racists to be racist are exposed to more of the people they were told were the enemy, and realize they're basically the same. the fact that some people waste time crying about racism and slavery when they could be out there rising above challenges is crazy.

They did not see the differences between them, they only knew That they cared about each other and enjoyed each other's company. We really should Take a lesson from the children on this matter. As a black woman who grew up around majority black kids, we had children of different hues who were the minority but as children, we all played and got along perfectly! We saw our differences but we didn't see our differences as being strange or a problem or an issue. It wasn't until adults and the media programming starts and lets be clear, that racism is also being passively taught in schools as well. It is all taught, learned and programmed into all of us! We have all been lied to! Remember, it's the divide and conquer strategy that keeps the enemy of all of humanity in power! Never forget that!

Hell yeah. This is how I talk to my son. Just because someone looks like you or talks like you doesn’t mean they are like you.
A man I was in prison with (he was in a group called aryan warriors here in Nevada) once told me race and family are bull shit. And he went on to say the most impactful phrase that has always stuck with me.
“You are stuck with your blood family but you get to pick your REAL family!!!!”
He went on to say that these people in here aren’t your people because they look like you and share common features. You are stuck with them because it’s a terrible place filled with lonely and angry people who fill their life with hate because they are failures.
This man had at least 8 more years at the time and that was about 20 years ago. I seen him at Home Depot a few years bad and was lucky enough to stay in close contact. He has a wife from Mexican background and she loves him for the man he is. Even with the ink others would hate him for.
He had such an impact on me that I stayed out of prison from that point on. I couldn’t ask for a better cell mate.
Hahaha. This man was also the man who taught me about a specific world leader from the 1930s-1940s and how we all looked at him as evil. He went on to explain how he was not the man we are taught and said he tried to live his live like him. Well if he is a reflection of that man we are thought is evil then we have allot to go back and look at. My friend is an honest and caring man who is a great father and loyal husband/friend who I have seen be more open to new people then these so called “justice warriors”.

I'd like to know what the reason is for 1.2k having a down vote. We need more people like this father and daughter. Children don't see skin color . That's a fact. We could learn so much from our children. This is a good father teaching good morals to his daughter. He's teaching his daughter that hate has no room in life. ( which is CRT). Its sickening, if i ever caught my kids being taught CRT i would pull them out of school. Edit: Any form of division allows for strong controllers. The school system grows in funding and power. The govt, as recent amazon studies on unions and diversity show, benefit in power from division as it makes it much less likely for people to ALL unite and stand up against all the injustices we aren’t and haven’t stood up and defeated. The numbers that guarantee victory are their motivation for division.
