Sometimes I just find something so useful that I have to share it. I know a lot of you out there have been wanting to print from your IPad but thought you couldn't without a wireless printer well think again! This will work on a Mac and Windows. This is a step by step video of how to do this.

Hey, please excuse my ignorance :) I also have a USB HP DESK JET & an iPad.
My printer 🖨 is only connected to an old laptop via USB and Mains wall socket.
So how does the printer bind to my iPad??

Nice but maybe not what I’m after?
Two offices - upper & lower.
Lower - iMac + Canon USB printer - no WiFi.
Upper - MBPro.
If I want to print something from the MBPro, I have to lug it downstairs and physically make a USB connection.
I have an iPad mini 5.
It would be nice to be able to print from the iPad just by hooking it up to the Canon.
Installing the freeware on the. iMac / MBPro sort of defeats the purpose.
Would you agree or have I missed something?

Is there a way to print directly from the iPad using a fem/fem usb adapter, in other words, without the middle-man computer? We have no desktop computer, and I'd like to be able to print when my wife has the laptop away from home.

A lot of printers now come with wireless printing built in that you can send from your phone. Thanks for watching.

Because of your title "IPad Printing to ANY USB Printer" I thought you were going to show how to print over a USB connection from an IPad to a USB printer or usb-connected-printer. What I got was a neat way to do a wireless connection but not a USB connection. Bummer!
There is no way to connect a USB cable to an iPad. You have to use the computer and send it wireless. Glad I could help.

Each time I try to download I get a site not safe message. Anything that has hacktivator as a name definitely makes me wonder. Maybe that is why it is free.

Yes that was sometime ago.
This app worked perfectly. I was looking to add my older USB laserjet to my Apple Time Capsule to enable network printing. I was easily able to set it up and print from my iMAC, but the printer would not show up on my iPhone or iPad. Once i installed this software, within seconds, the printer showed up and I was able to print from all my devices! Thanks so much. I am curious if there is a more direct way to do this without using this 3rd party software or having the computer it's self on, but it works fine for now!
@blakkjack21 The way that the program works in this video is that you have to have it installed and what ever printer you have setup on the computer just share it out and you can print to it. For your mom's just install the software onto her computer and share her printer and it will work there also. It does not have to be a wireless printer. But you do need a wireless router running on your network.
@neil2090 You are correct. I never turn off my computer because it runs online backups at night. But you have a very good point thanks for sharing.
hey there, very usefull video, but I want to ask is it possible to print from ipad that is connected to the same network with the printer?? The printer is connected to the router of the network via usb(the router supports print server function) and also the router is connected via ethernet with one desktop win 7.

Very interesting thanks for sharing this. However as previously mentioned its been taken down. There is a replacement, but this only works with os10.6.6/7 and I'm running 10.6.2, anything else you can suggest please?

You would have to buy a printer that has the IOS wireless so you can print directly.
What's with the music
This crap doesn’t work and not user friendly. Horrible
You have to remember this was some years ago. Today it is easier to by a printer that will print from any mobile device.
