First the Box, the fake one have missing text beside the bar code, 0:42 but the quality of the box are almost the same aside from light color and some wrong spelling.
The earbuds are low quality for the fake one its kinda hard rubber not like in original its soft earbuds.
AT 6:30 you will notice the fake airdots is not tightly close.
At 2:47 you will notice the charging case of original is more details than the fake one.
The quality of sound, the fake one is low bass and more treble, not like the original the bass is awesome and the mid and high frequency are present.
Bluetooth connection, when i tried to connect the left airdots of the fake one its crazy because its registered as the airdots_R.. its must be airdots_L.
Quality, sadly my fake airdots works only in less than one week, because the right airdots wont charges, and i read the review of some buyer and most of them are having the same problem with my fake one. and i purchase the original from the xiaomi store at the mall around my city then i realized the one that i brought thru online shop [LAZADA] is FAKE!!
About the LOGO Redmi and Mi Logo are the same brand manage by xiaomi.
but mostly fake airdots (OEM or COPY Product) come's with the Mi logo printed in the charging case, base from the review of others airdots user and my experience.
Additional! for the FAKE airdots I'd notice when i cover my ears (left and right) by my hand while using the airdots it will lose or having weak connection or turn your head side up like lying on the bed side position this will also weak the connection and you'll notice sometimes unparallel sound distribution.

I got one with the MI logo and honestly the sound quality is A+ clear with pumping bass (same sound quality as those original apple earphones) and i got it from an original xiaomi products seller. Ive been using it for almost a year already. No fake earphones last this long. Battery life still lasts for 4 hours when used. So i must say the one with the MI logo is still original.
So basically mine are fake with an original box LOL

@@friday5730 These earbuds are the reason I renewed my Spotify subscription - love them! I had a big headset and some airpod clones and I almost stopped listening to music, it was so bad. But these buds are super nice, especially for $20.

All I have to say is that I love XIaoMi company. I own two of their airpurifiers too. According to this video, we have two "authentic" pairs of these buds and I love them.
Mi is engraved on the charger case of the International version whose box says Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic or Basic S. Airdots is the Chinese version which has Redmi engraved on the charger box. You Should have shown the serial number under the rubber earpiece. Only the Original has it.

I purchased Xiaomi airdots in Xiaomi concept store in SM North. I got MI logo only. So, does it mean I received fake item from the concept store? Can anyone enlighten me about this? Thanks!

@@ashbarf not misleading. Having Mi logo doeant mean its fake. Its overall, that this video shown including box colour and design quality. I know because im an online seller that buy from china supplier, we can choose to buy either original airdots($15) or copy original 1:1($8).
If ur box was writed Mi earbuds basic...then it was original(global set).....in this video show the original redmi airdots (china set)

mine is definitely fake 😂 but the sound is great and it connects fine. only thing is I couldn’t save the battery life cause I can’t turn it off (though it can last for a day)

I think it's high time you update your information as it is misleading, there may be fake types but not the MI brand. Also confirm from Xiaomi,
sometimes we dont need to act smart when we are clueless about something. Im an online seller and buy products from china, and for redmi airdots, we can choose to buy original($15) or copy original($8). Many online seller sell the copy original to get more profit, and most dumb buyers that are clueless thought they bought original product.

Yah.. It must not lost connection if you cover it with your hand, becoz original have a long range of connectivity up to 15 meters distance.
I bought it the original one around Rp 280k 1 month ago from shoppee, and its not shipped from china, try it

You didn't put a note in the video that says MI is the global version and Redmi is the Chinese version. This could confuse viewers thinking that theirs is fake because the logo is Mi. You can tell that it's original or fake just by looking and examining the box at first but who knows maybe others have an original box with fake headphones

No, it's not a fake, you just have to set them up properly.

@@radithyarafee5264 1) Delete AirDots_R from the Bluetooth menu of your device, if you have connected it before.
2) Take out both earphones from the box. Push and hold buttons simultaneously on both earphones for 6 seconds, until red lights appear (this will turn them off). Release buttons.
3) Once again press and hold buttons simultaneously on both earphones, but now for 15 seconds. You will see different light blinking. This will connect both earphones between each other. Release buttons.
4) Finally, once again push both buttons simultaneously for two seconds, it will turn the device on. Find the right earphone (AirDots_R) in your Bluetooth menu, connect only to this one. Both earphones should work now.

Mine looks exactly the same as the original one, but I still got doubts because mine's too light
The airdots are pretty light
xiaomi airdot white color only and it has the capacitive touch panel each side. the redmi version has one side click control button. I don't know if the xioami release the black.
I had the original Redmi Airdots(left) but I lost it. Days ago, I bought Redmi Airdots on ebay (was so cheap) and you can figure out the difference, the quality, the box, but yes as I said were very cheap

Oof- both are fake if you check in their official store the box should be labeled Mi True Wireless Earbuds not Redmi AirDots🤧. And to clarify the earbuds with 'Redmi' engraved is the redmi airdots 2 while the one with the 'Mi' is the redmi airdots basic S.
