It marked the birth of England's new brand of one-day cricket, which has seen them rise right to the top of the international game. The new, exciting attitude was epitomised first by Joe Root and then Jos Buttler, as England reached a colossal 408-9 in their 50 overs. It was the first time they passed the 400 milestone and was at that stage their highest total ever. However they would break this record a year later, when they posted 444-3 against Pakistan in 2016.

What's incredible is that the predicted score was 338 when Root-Morgan partnership was on, with ENG scoring at 7.5/over. It came down to 278 with the fall of 6th wicket, run-rate dipping to 6.7. But then, Buttler did a Gilchrist. Heartbreaking to see James Taylor @14:14 - perhaps the lone bright spot in that 2015 squad.
At 30 overs they were 202-6 ....they manage to score more 206 in next 20 with just 4 wickets left .
That is incredible !!!!!
What's even more unbelievable is in the 2011 world cup, a match between Pakistan and newzealand, nz were at 202-6 at 45 overs and scored exactly 100 more runs in the last 5. Final score was 302-6!!

After poor 2015 CWC, the journey for glory started right here. Later Bairstow, Woakes, Wood and Archer join but sad about those replaced player. Still respect to all and never forget about 2019 glory with great performance from Root as most run scorer for eng in cwc 2019, Stokes as hero in the opening and final match, Roy and Bairstow as destructive opening partnership, Woakes and Archer as face bowler, the unsung hero Plunkett and his important 3 wkts in final. Buttler heroic in super over. Rashid with great hardwork, all lead by skipper Morgan.

I wildly predicted in 2016 when Ben stokes was hit 4 sixes by Carlos Braithwaite. Everyone was talking about how Ben stokes failed miserably I told my brother at that moment that stokes is going to win a world cup for England and vow what a prediction I made. He was the heart and soul of that team. It happens sometimes with passionate cricket lovers and yeah I'm a cricket fan doesn't just support my country but I watch any quality cricket no matter which country or franchise.
