SD28 House, designed by Estudio GMARQ, is located in a well-established neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This modern home prioritizes everyday comfort, spaciousness, and brightness. The house features two superimposed volumes with interior patios that provide natural lighting and ventilation. Designed for potential future lot subdivision, the house is developed linearly and surrounded by vegetation, creating an urban oasis. Low-maintenance materials like concrete, aluminum, and porcelain are used, and sliding aluminum brise soleils offer shade throughout the year. The ground floor houses common areas, while bedrooms and service areas are located on the upper floor. Security and privacy are ensured with a large gate and vertical lattices on the façade, giving the house a minimalist and pure aesthetic.
