In other developed countries, these facilities and services are very normal. In Philippines, this is not.
We Pinoys treat our elderly different, however, things are changing. Both husbands and wife have to go out and work; and often times some of our children are far from home.

Hello po! Ngayun ko lng nkita to video nyong ito. I was looking for a care home for my father. I was surprised ang dami na rin pla especially sa Cavite at reasonable rates nman. At nkita kong masaya ang mga care homes sa pinas kya mag eenjoy tlaga father ko kesa kpag nasa bhay lng, walang tao at walang ginagawa.

I'm glad I found your blog. Yes please!! Do some more videos of these. They are doing this now in Thailand. Europeans and American elderly are sent by their families to be cared for there in Thailand. The families are happy with services that the Thais provide their loved ones. Di ba caring ang Pinoy at may respeto sa matanda? They prefer our culture the way we treat our seniors with respect. Thank you and I'm your new subscriber👍.

Sad as it may seem...but that's the reality of ageing...we too have such thing as expiration dates. The Bible says 70 yrs is grand enough to achieve. In most goods we buy from Grocers...it says...best consumed before _____date. THAT'S IT ! Before its too late, i guess acceptance of the fact that just like Covid19 pandemic, We too need to prepare ourselves for Pleasant Senior living conditions as OUR NEW NORM. I just discovered you. Great information you're providing. Mahal talaga dito sa States. Tapos the best caregivers here are Filipinas. We paid about $6K/month for our parents and they never made it to Level Care 2 which would have been around $8K/month. Kaya now it's a good time to start thinking about where to grow old and get quality assisted living care at an affordable rates. Kaya thanks for the information.

Dito sa kinaroroonan ko ay may ganyan din na assisted living facility. Ang iba ay independent living facility na may tulong sa gobierno para sa mga seniors na mababa ang income. May mga bigay sa independent living na tulong sa matatanda.

Two years from now, dual citizen na din ako but since I am also a health care worker, mas madali na para sa akin ang maunawaan ang milestone na ito. Our lives have different stages at kung magkakaruon tayo ng proper mindset at tatanggapin na ito ay bahagi ng buhay ng tao..."ang pagtanda"...palagay ko hindi naman magiging mahirap kung ano man ang magiging choice natin how to be taken cared off when we get old. Basta piliin lang natin ang maging masaya at unawain na ang ating mga anak o mahal sa buhay ay may sarili ding buhay na dapat tugunan sa araw2x. Sa aking opinyon, mas maiiwasan natin ang pangungulila at pagkahabag sa sarili kung tayo man ay di nila nabibigyan ng panahon ng pag-aaruga kung magiging bukal sa puso natin ang pagtanggap sa ating pagtanda.

I work in a Nursing home here in USA .. Sad to say most of the residents didnt have visitors for long time..
It's really sad but that's life. We could not 'force' our family to 'look' after us. At last here in Philippines, we stll care for our old. Thanks for watching

naisip ko lang, rolly...wala pa bang tulong sa gov't financially...si yorme talagang gusto niyang tumulong sa mga senior...kailang kausapin natin si yorme baka sakaling mayroon di ba? mag papapatayo siya ng bongang hospital, maybe he can work on this facilities bago ma-bingkong ang mga senior. thx for the info

@@pinoysenior8164 I have this idea on how senior citizens should put their life savings together and finance their own self owned and operated group home.
You see no matter how pay-to-stay home operators talk so nicely, they are after earning a good return from their customers who live in their commercial homes, and when these senior citizens depleted their life savings, they the owners are no longer nice at all, but they will put you out into the streets, period.
I am trying to get senior citizens whose children are not at all loving to have them live with them (the kids), but these kids are after getting whatever they can of real estate property or and even papa and mama’s life savings, and when papa and mama’s earthly resources are turned over to them, these kids will put papa and mama into the streets, period.
What about you, dear Pinoy Senior, what are your plans when you are already old, and your kids are talking already about how you can and should already turn over to them your real estate property and life savings, in the meantime you are not at all welcome to live with them!
That is what’s happening to me now!
And one of them is planning to bring me to court! I have two kids, both living by themselves, and neither one of them is at all welcoming me to live with them!
You see, dear Pinoy Senior, I am 84 years old, a widower, still healthy and active, and with real estate property and life savings, and I am living all by myself in a modest condo unit, and I know that one day sooner than later I will need someone to take care of me, because I will be bed-ridden.
Who will take of me? Not my two kids, they will be very busy seeking ways and means to get their hands on my real estate property and life savings, even going to court to get their hands on my earthly resources, and then put me into the streets!
You and I, we should get together to set up our own group home, to own and operate, with the still healthy and active ones taking care of their bed-ridden members, and who are going to help us, simple, people we hire to serve us, period.
Think about that.

MANY CHRISTIANS IN PH BUT NO PROJECT FOR SENIORS. HOPE CHIRSTIAN CHURCHES IN PH WILL HAVE PROJECTS LIKE THAT OF PST. DAVID CHO OF S. KOREA. TECH VOCH SCHOOLS FOR YOUTH & HOME FOR THE AGED.
There are Church- sponsored as well as Government Home for the Aged. However they are not well managed due to lack of money. That's why private services are now numerous. You are right. it's a pity

How much is cheapest fee?
Hi Leda, It will depend on the kind of service is needed / requested, however based on my several interviews, price rabge form 40K to 120K per month. the highest is for patients with dementia.
