How to identify fake 7506? (I used to own one)
#1 - unbelievably cheap
#2 - if you see made in Japan with current purchase. It will be from Thailand.
#3 - It do not come with the Sony pouch
#4 - the both paddings will not rest well like mine
#5 - the wordings from the side have some misalignment.
#6 - the “L” and “R” must not have transparent plastic protective on them and must not have scratches.

All I have are shown in the video. Guess no more then.

@@georgebablovsky4907 hi, if yours are like mine, you are highly possible to have a real one. I ever bought a fake one, so I roughly know the differences and I had highlighted it in my video. Hope it helps everyone.
Thank you so much. So, all newly built models are made in Thailand and you could only find made in Japan if it were produced long time ago or from secondhand market like ebay?
Hi. 7506 are (were) made in Japan, China and Thailand. For modern 7506, you will mainly find it made in Thailand. Do not let the low price (compare to other studio monitor) make it feel less confident. It is a workhorse. Beside the wires being a little heavy and not overly comfortable with the padding, it is still an exellent choice for many. I listen music using it too.
Extra: It is perfectly fine with made in Thailand. Sony QC are known to be extremely high, get one if you need one. Let me know what you buy at the end.
@@Jovanmusictime Hello. I bought these headphones yesterday. The packaging was of poor quality and the special bag was made of shiny leather. But still the sound quality was good. I did not test the original of this headphone to find out what its real quality is. But in general I am worried. This model I got is made in Taiwan. There is no serial number on the box. what should i do?
@@Fluorescent.P Hi, how much did you pay? Monitor headphone is meant to give accurate presentation while listening to music. Thus, if for the purpose of enjoying music, I would not be using that - there are better options.
@@Jovanmusictime I live in a backward and miserable country where import and export are prohibited and most of the goods available here are fake. But some merchants import the main goods privately. I bought from someone who claimed to have bought from Amazon Europe and brought it to this country. I did not pay in dollars and cannot calculate how much it will be. Because there is a lot of fraud in this country and the prices they tell the customer are much higher than the global price of goods. And that any goods imported from abroad must be added almost 3 times to its price, which is called border customs fee.i just want to know my headphone is orginal or not? No one in this country knows about these foreign things.

@@Fluorescent.P I do not have a lot of information from you to assist you. If your bag is not a Sony black (kinda matt) and the holograms are good indicators of whether it is fake. If you are paying at a price and expecting it to be authentic, please contact the seller to verify (e.g. shown prove of his purchase, if possible).
Again for sound quality, if for enjoying music, I will use headphone with added bass. It’s a very personal choice. As your ‘bad’ is subjective to me, let me know more relevant info so I can assist.

The item shown in this video appears to be written in seven languages on the package. However, it seems that many packages with only English notation are in circulation. I have the same version as you, is this the real thing?

The one's i have i bought over 10 years ago an they came with Styrofoam ear pads an they just stop working one day an i didn't use them alot at all
