If I ever make it to France I will be sure to check out these areas. Thank you for showing us its beauty. Also really enjoyed the interview with the Kickass business owner. He's got the right idea.
Please do! It’s a hidden gem that not many people explore! It’s such a great place to relax and slow down :)
Thank you for giving us a tour of such a lovely place.
Your videos always feel like a virtual mini vacation 😍
Yay!! That’s the goal!! 🫡💕
What a beautiful region, I definitely need to visit one day. I must say France is such a great teacher of slow living🫶🏽
Wow. Your Drone footage is absolutely brilliant. Your photography has always been good but you have taken it to another level entirely.
your voice is very soothing! Very poetic 😍thanks for sharing
So glad to hear it!
Happy New Year! Looking forward to seeing your videos in 2023!
I love days when you post a video Helena! 😍 I have to say that of all the places I dream of traveling to, France was never on my list. However, watching your videos the past few years I am blown away by how beautiful it is and all the various regions to explore! If I ever go to the Basque region I think I would never want to leave. It looks/sounds like heaven! ✨️🌊🌲💕
Your comments always make my day!! Thank you always for your support, kind words and encouragement! You really encourage me to keep showing up and sharing my life Kristen ❤️🥰 and totally!! I wasn’t ever interested in France before living here. When Alex and I backpacked Europe in 2015, France was my least favorite country. It took living here and meeting the people to really love it!
"Create your own work," beautiful! He should be a motivational speaker, well.. he already is. 😊👍 Great video, thank you!
C’est ma région préférée en France, avec la Haute-Savoie aussi👌
This is such a beautiful video! I'm heading to the South of France for an artist residency this year, and I'm so excited to return to the country. I'm also studying with Lingoda to prepare! I actually just posted a video about my travel plans and preparing with Lingoda. It's going to be an exciting year!
It’s always so therapeutic watching and listening to your videos ❤☺️
Thank you Helena for sharing your incredible life in France, Mercy
If you like the variety of landscapes in our beautiful Bask Country, be sure to visit the Sainte-Engrâce area in spring. It's in the hinterland and has the most beautiful mountains and lakes and streams, and waterfalls !... And of course, you have to visit the "Gorges de Kakuetta", a little piece of paradise with amazing flora and wildlife. They call it the little Amazon ... 🌌
Thanks for another mini visit to France.... 🇫🇷
This was so enjoyable....Again, thank you, Helena.
So glad you enjoyed it lovely!! ✨🥰
Hi Helena, I love your videos! When I was young my dream was to live in France. I’m living my dream through your videos. Thank you so much. Blessings 🙏💖
You seem to love every place you've lived in France. That's a such a beautiful outlook to have! 😍❤
Everywhere except Montpellier 😂 I don’t like to use the word “hate” so I’ll just say I really, really, really didn’t like it lol
@@helenawoods 😂😂😂
Loved this! So beautifully put together 🤍
Glad you liked it! 💕
That was lovely.
You are a real gift!
8:16 : natives used to learn French for ... 9 years at school (from 6 to 14 y.o.). Now, less, I guess. It was intense. If you find the old BLED books, they are the best.
French students start learning French at 6 and it ends when they are 17 actually.
But..... Now I'm confused whether I should wisit France or not. Because I think I visited it through your kind channel 😅
Beautiful!
Hi Helena, you make such wonderful videos oh my God!
My life has changed so much in the last couple of years, I no longer live on Sardinia island and I'm planning to move to another country in the next few years.
I still have to decide whether it'll be Corsica, Portogallo or the south of France, and I was just thinking about Biarritz or nearby areas 😊 it has to be by the sea or ocean, that's the first requirement for me.
We'll see, I still have time to make up my mind, life's unpredictable so who knows!
Big hugs to you from Italy ❤❤❤
*Portugal haha
bASQUE SOUNDS AND LOOKS LOVELY!
So wonderful 💕💕💕😍🌱🌱🌿☘️🌿🕊
Thank you 😊💫
Thank you lovely! Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Amazing ! if we just could run for what's truly needed rather than running for everything and for anything life would be best
Beautiful lanscapes...
Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.
And how does one have money to be able to afford such an ideal life? Inheritance, lotto win, great job enabling one to retire into such a life? Just curious. I've lived in Paris years ago.. Went to school there for a year, and money rules. If one has it, your good. If you don't, one has to fix that or leave the country. In any event, All the Best to you Helena. Thanks for posting!
I mean....Iorked 7 days a week, earning minimum wage and was able to save $10,000 for the move to France. It was hard. I hardly ever had a break but I did it. When we moved to France, I babysat for some extra cash. I also don't live in Paris. Way too expensive. I live in a rural suburban area in Basque :) The cost of living is lower here than in all the places i have lived in the USA.
Biarritz, Guetarry, Hendaye, les Runes, Espelette, San Sebastián, le Pays Basque ... Oh ... oui ! Et Biarritz ... belle et sauvage comme un beau rêve.
Je ne comprend pas, parce que tu parlez francais trop vite. Mercie pour les sous-titre Anglais.
15:03 That is not just, « normal » in the U.S.?
Top...... Xo
Thank you for your videos, however you are misleading your viewers by saying Pays Basque is a "hidden gem", "not very well known by tourists and travellers". Pays Basque is one of the most tourist packed place in France. Especially because of the surfers and van lifers as you mention in your video. Biarritz, where you shoot your interview is full of tourists in summer. Also one doesn't say "Basque" on its own, it is said "Pays Basque" or "Basque country".The word basque alone is either a person or the language from there.
thanks for the correction.
