I have this on VHS videotape, from the 1989 World Harmonica Festival in Trossingen. I met Roland a few years later at a later WHF, and also in California. On the first song he uses both ovetone singing and overblows, both relatively unheard of in harmonica playing at that time. On the third tune he uses a harmonica in harmonic-minor tuning (and also uses a few overblows).

It sounds middle eastern to my ear. Reminds of my trips to Iran...adhan. Call to prayer. ( Islam). Hauntingly beautiful.
