I’ve loved them since Seven Hills. The chorus in that hits home. They went independent some years back and have been laying bangers on a regular. Really loving this one 🔥
They're awesome at making choruses
These guys are just on another level, their song writing is better than any other metalcore band, yes it's above Architects and AILD. Their music is just more saturated, it has more substance, they really are pioneers.
I think architects still trumps them. Great none the less
As I Lay Dying isn't that easy a band to be surpassed i love both the bands and have pretty much all the song's from both bands but as I Lay Dying is the band that had wave of almost every genre. I'll still point out while she sleeps is now in a Trend of new metalcore that pretty much is started by them
been listening to these guys since their ep, they never seem to fail on records and always invigorate me
I saw them open up a show earlier this year with Thy Art is Murder and the almighty Architects. They absolutely killed it!
I think that "Interesting" vocal you heard in the song is Lawrence experimenting with his cleans, and honestly, I'm here for it, he's great!

Been a die hard while she sleeps fan since the crows ep and have seen them live countless times. I can confirm yes they are fudging nuts live and always put on a good show. The reason the video is shot like this is cuz you can make it a hologram by putting one of the glass pyramids in the centre. Can't wait to see what they do next
I've said it before but I'll say it again. WSS write better riffs in one song then most bands write on an album.

I heard A Matter Of Time recently and was pleasantly surprised. It's epic! Celldweller/Klayton is a musical genius.

WSS has some serious thrash vibes. Not so much on So What or this song, but definitely on You Are We and before. Four Walls and Wide Awake are probably the biggest examples.
Wasn't the biggest fan of WSS's latest album but a huge fan of all their other albums. You Are We is my fave album of all time. This new song brings back vibes of their previous style. Fan-fucking-tastic.

Their older albums are ''heavier''. This band has evolved and every album sounds different. Started as pure metalcore with The North Stands For Nothing. I love every one of their albums. Altough SO WHAT took a while to get used to but now I love it. These guys are also awesome towards their fans. They went independent before You Are We and the whole album (YAW) is crowd funded by the fans so they could set up their own studio and record the album. In return they made tons of cool stuff for fans who pledged like cymbal lamp shades and guitar string rings used on the album. They really are connected with their fans. TLDR, awesome band, check them out, have a nice day
Highly recommend you go back to earlier work and listen to Four Walls, Seven Hills, Our Legacy, Hurricane. It fairly heavy but super catchy. I really think you'll dig it. Cheers.
