I saw all 3 series when they first aired. I always wanted to do what he did, do a property search, buy a place, do it up and live in France permanently. Thanks to the internet enabling me to work remotely, some career adjustment, I was able to do it and bought my lovely little apartment with terrace in beautiful central Uzes in 2007. BEen here ever since with an art business too and never looked back. Good old Nigel with his tv series gave me the nudge to get on with it. I love it here and could thoroughly recommend the move....it's my paradise.

I watched this series when it first screened and caught my first glimpse of the Ardeche - I subsequently holidayed by Pon't de'Arc - thanks Nigel RIP
