Moved from Forest to Tottenham for £2.1 million…. played 92-97, Venables Spurs manager had watched Teddy at Millwall & Forest, now Spurs had their man!
The was a realisation of a dream come true for Teddy joining Spurs.

INTERNATIONALS ENGLAND
First England cap at the age of 27 in 1993
Formed a famous partnership with Alan Shearer under Terry Venables and played during the memorable Euro 96 campaign, was called up again under new England manager Glenn Hoddle. In 2001 was selected as part of Eriksson's 2002 World Cup squad.
MANCHESTER UTD.
Transferred from Tottenham to Manchester United in a £3.5 million deal….under Alex Ferguson won three Premiership titles, one FA Cup, one UEFA Champions League, an Intercontinental Cup and an FA Charity Shield.
Won the treble in season 98-99
In 2001, he was named both the PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year
TOTTENHAM PT2.
Returned to Tottenham on a free transfer as one of new manager Glenn Hoddle's first signings
Now aged 36.
PORTSMOUTH
A short period at Portsmouth 2003-04…..clubs first season in the Premier League, Manager Harry Redknapp.
WEST HAM UNITED
At 38, Sheringham then dropped down a division to West Ham United, SEASON 04-05.
Under Alan Pardew, helped the club gain promotion back into the Premier League.
Season 07-08, released by WHU, joined Colchester United on a free.

As a life-long Arsenal supporter, although it pains me to say it, Teddy Sheringham was blessed with a brain and instinct (as well as two feet) which meant that his teams had the Gods on their side !
No more aptly was this demonstrated than in the European Champions League Final when he did the same to Bayern Munich !!
He was literally the Coolest Man in Professional Football !!!
(But he'll always be a C*** to me !!!!)
