There's a fair bit you seem to have misinterpreted or didn't finish reading. Too many things to write in comments now. Most of your ideology for how refined storage works is ever so slightly off. Transmitters and receivers shouldn't appear next to each other, for example... and storage controller connections are not made through ME interfaces.
In my creative world interfaces are the only thing that worked both ways (pulling out and depositing items), or at least for what I need it to do. I read all of your comments (except the one that disappeared). And if I can use only one of the blocks transmitter/receiver, would I have full control over the items?

@@justfantastikrab5047 The transmitter / receiver pair are a wireless cable. Next to each other makes them the same as a regular cable.
They are next to each other because of the limited space I have, but I can make it one block smaller
